Your side of the story: It was a meme round by a very loose defintion in that all the rules of that round had been thrown out of the window, to the point OOC IC and IC OOC was allowed, too. I had a link as a name for the clown and it actually turned out to act as a real working link that people could click on and use, to which I ahelped and told durkel and then got a meme ban for my trouble, or maybe he noticed, I dunno

Why you should be unbanned: The entire round was a big meme with no rules and I'm a good boy ok???

He broke a rule which he had not previously broken, and was apparently unaware of so he was not banned, but a record was made that he broke the rule so there cant be any "I didnt know rule 8 didnt apply!" in future rounds

I think the entire point of the note was to be a meme because the round WAS a meme, it wasn't the round you're thinking of, that's the more recent MEME round, there was another at the time the note shows that was just a massive shitfest, to the point respawning was allowed and I'm fairly sure highlander got spammed

This is sort of peanut posting, but you wouldn't find logs of a low-rules / meme round in chat. It was in the MOTD/Admin Announcement thing for a few shifts.

Also, i mean. Just look at the shit people are saying. It's obviously a Meme/Low-Rules round.
Unless people on Sybil Commonly scream about, Rape, ERP, Vore, Ghosts, Use Acronyms, Spam in All-Caps, etc
But, i sincerely doubt that they do.

if it's OK to say "pornhub" then adding a "www" and a ".com" doesn't make it magically not OK. It isn't a trick NSFW link. Everyone knows what it is. The note is a meme note that is even written as a meme ("This is a christian server and such actions will not be tolerated") and the fact people are having an actual argument about it is fucking stupid

The note should just be deleted. He knows not to do it again and the only instance in which he has ever done it was revolving (to what he believed to be) a meme round.

Players just got the ability to appeal notes so it is natural there'd be a backlog of notes they would've appealed but couldn't

I'm not a fan of having admins brand me a certain way because I have X amount of notes, I'd rather lower that number if I can so at the very least people don't get the wrong impression right off the bat, that being said I think I've done enough to put a dent in that number and with fading notes I'm not sure how useful this will really be so

Only admins and people who read the ban appeals section can see your notes, and the former has a fairly solid opinion of you already even if none of these notes existed.

Next time I get on the computer I'll delete the note and we can have a note War or whatever.
