Byond account and character name: Nullarmo - don't remember my in game name
Banning admin: Gouty
Ban type (What are you banned from?): The server
Ban reason and length: "Killed someone straight off the shuttle with no prior interaction. Disconnected when PM'd" - permanent ban
Time ban was placed (including time zone): 27/11/2017 12:09 (AEST)
Server you were playing when banned (Sybil or Bagil): Bagil, i think
Your side of the story:
Hi, I'm new to this game, drawn to it by the videos boat bomber and the like make, and I thought it was ok to just start a fight with a random dude (and win)
Turns out that is a bad idea, I should have read the rules, the ban reason is accurate.
Why did I not respond to the PM? I don't know, I should have responded but I didn't. (I can see this being the main reason I got perma banned)
I'll be honest, I tried making a new account and joined in only to greet the ban screen (path of least resistance in my defense)
Why you think you should be unbanned:
I've learnt my lesson, this is not just a game about killing randoms, it's about rp'ing and having a good time with everyone else.
I'll unironically try to help others next time as an assistant.

If you dc while an admin tries to pm you usually that results in a permaban so you’re forced to come on the forums and explain yourself.

That's not really a very good excuse for trying to evade.

However I do note that nothing about ban evading is actually in our rules page. I suppose it's because we like to hope most people have the common sense to realise it's a permabannable offence.

Would it perhaps be covered by rule 6, as circumventing an admin ruling or something?
If not, it should probably be put in the precedent section for it.

To be honest I would say it's so obvious that you shouldn't do it that it can be covered under rule 0.
