Ahelped that he was batonned by a guy who never batonned him, leading him to die to means not within this individual's control, and later claimed he was "disarm spammed" by him despite being disarmed only once. Given your notes, you need to take some time off.

Your side of the story: An antag is on the shuttle, threw some emp's and went to town on everyone trying to kill everyone, i manage to punch them and knock them down and am in the process of killing them, a virologist comes from the bottom of the shuttle, walks over to me, was there and saw all that happened, decides to disarm spam me, and then walk onto the body i was actively attacking, and gets punched by accident. Manages to disarm me and knock me over and causes me to be unable to defend myself from the slime that has now come over and is attacking me. I ahelp at this point and explain the situation "PM to-Admins: adolph dugmore knocked me down and got me killed".

randolph pretty quickly replies saying "Admin PM from-RandolfTheMeh: You've got a few notes on ban baiting already, so let's be more mindful with how we use our PMs." when these other notes he's talking about are other bad notes that aren't truthful and were put in place by admins in an emotional state, and has been cascading now for a while but that's not what i'm appealing.

Upon looking at my notes at the end of the round, I see I have a new note saying I "ahelped someone that he claims got him killed despite the fact that he punched him, if he keeps this up just ban him for banbaiting" or something to that affect, i can't see the note now since I have gotten this ban

I respond with another ahelp and explain I have gotten these erroneous note from admins that don't investigate the situation and just rush to noting without actually looking at anything, and judging from how fast it took randolph to reply to my initial ahelp and the time that I got the note, proves my point.

A few minutes go by and randolph actually replies saying he's sorry, he got it wrong and that I was actually correct. "Admin PM from-RandolfTheMeh: Upon your persistence, I've looked through last rounds logs, and you would be correct, I made a mistake"

Now here is where something happens that I'm not entirely sure of. Another few minutes go by, andRandolph then says he's removing the note... to ban me for the incident.
He then starts making up things in his pm's to me "Admin PM from-RandolfTheMeh: But based off of what I've gathered, you ahelped that a man batonned you, which logs never show he did, and that it led to your death, which was caused by a slime". First, no I did not say anyone batoned me, nowhere did I say that a baton was involved (which would implicate the cmo that was on the shuttle). I responded trying to clarify a bit more because now at this point it seems something has gone very wrong with his understanding of the situation. "PM to-Admins: a viro walked up from the bottom of the shuttle, walked up to me killing the unknown moth ling that threw emp's and attacked everyone, started spam disarming on me and walked onto the body i was punching"
"PM to-Admins: if he hadn't have shoved me and knocked me down into the slime i would not have died"
"PM to-Admins: the cmo rescued me and was trying to stop the viro from getting me killed because i just saved everyone on the shuttle from dying to the antag"

How do you go from apologizing that you got the incident wrong and that I was correct in my ahelp, to then turn right around 180 and then say that you're banning me for the very incident that I was correct about? I'm extremely confused.

Why you think you should be unbanned: Because this ban is very blatantly falsely applied, I was told I was right about what happened, and was apologized to by the responding admin about them getting the judgement wrong, and then banned immediately after.

I'm also making this an admin complaint if I have to since this is just unbelievable.

As the admin in question, 1) It's Randolf, not Randolph, but with that out of the way, attempted disarms are not logged in the attack logs. 2) You said he stunned you, but by your own logs he only disarmed you successfully once. He did not push you. I left a note as, from what I can tell, your ahelps have not been the most thorough historically, though I can at another time, and with the help of others more adept than me, recover these for your notice. I had done so because I made the assumption that perhaps collapsible batons did not leave attack logs, in which case you may very well have been stunned by this individual. This, however, was erroneous, and thus I upped it to a ban, as the individual you blamed in your ahelp had done nothing but successfully disarm you once (not even push you). All the while, you're being glomped by the slime responsible for your death. Upon your death, you blame the one guy who disarmed you once successfully. Had this had any actual, meaningful bearing on your death, it'd be understandable, yet you can't tell me that the man's attempts at disarming you were what killed you, nor can you tell me the one punch you gave him that was meant for the ling already well in crit was what did so.

Indeed it's incompetence, and I don't claim anywhere to be great at what I do, as I was slow to reach this conclusion, but from what I've read through, you died to an enemy that you have posted in your own logs, and blamed the one guy who had no meaningful impact on your death- sending an adminhelp detailing such.

EDIT: I had conceded that my original ruling was incorrect, but not to your benefit, hence why you were banned.

You keep bringing up that I ahelped about someone else entirely and something about a baton, which was never said and was something that you brought up from somewhere, for some unknown reason.

The virologist did NOT disarm me once, they disarmed me FOUR times, causing me to be unable to defend myself from the slime that was coming after me. One disarm WENT through, this is still someone actively attacking me and flanking me from another angle that I cannot defend myself from both sides.
Had he not for some reason decided to come attack me I would have had ample time to get the extinguisher in my bag and fend the slime off. Even if I would have somehow been able to get away from him and get my way around the table that he was pinning me in from, would he have stopped coming after me and using disarm on me?

Once he started spamming disarm on me I attempted to flee but could not because he's blocking me in and on a non-help intent that can push me back.

And it's very clear from the logs that at the point of the viro coming over to me and hitting disarm on me, that it doesn't log disarms that failed to have effect. I copy-pasted from my client's logs that he got in 3 other disarms, one of them before before he walked onto the body that I was punching, causing me to stop and panic because now I'm being attacked by two different people, and I tried to run and pull my extinguisher but was unable to do so, and the slime ended up killing me.

Please look at this log, and the coordinates of the attack, both bodies are on the same tile, meaning the virologist walked on top of the person I was punching.
What doesn't get shown here, and which is the relevant part, is that in between my punch on the unknown, and the punch to adolph, is that adolph begins his disarm spam onto me.

To get the even bigger crux of the problem here is that you upped my note, which you then later found to be incorrect, to a ban, from what was for all intents and purposes an appeal (you took another look at the logs, sought advice from another admin about the situation and came back with a solution).

This in and of itself violates a precedent. And this is the reason why this is half note appeal, half admin complaint.
From what was already an "appeal" that went through admin pm's, you found my note was incorrect and were removing it, but then for some unknown reason went to up it from a note to a ban, for the same reason the note was put in place.

Because the ahelp was within a second or two me falling to the ground during the disarm spam and being attacked, which I attributed to being shoved.

From looking at it with the logs, it was getting crit that did it (as if anyone is going to be able to see the situation exactly how it's going on as it's going on, on top of me falling down literally as he's disarming me). This does not change the fact that I STILL would have ahelped it because he was a near direct cause to me dying.

If I had been any faster in pulling out my extinguisher, ironically enough, he would have disarmed it from me and caused me to lose my only item to defend against the slime attacking me. There was also a bugged extinguisher under the moth I was attacking that was unable to be picked up, and again, if the game wasn't bugged and I had that in my hand I would have lost that to the successful disarm he got off on me.

He is on a non-help intent and physically, as in moving into me, stopping me from being able to run away from the slime, because on that shuttle, the way the table is set up near the shuttle brig, you can get cut off from being able to move from the area it seperates you from. If he hadn't actually been there disarming me, I would have only had the slime to deal with and would have probably been able to fend it off.

As for me upping this to a ban, I was still looking through logs to check if batons and the like were logged when you made the ahelp, which was initially not handled by me. I took over the ticket once I determined, from more log diving, that you had no feasible excuse for why he somehow knocked you down.

No, being crit by the slime which I had no way to able to deal with because I'm being attacked by two different things at once.
Also being bodyblocked by someone actively hindering me with spam disarms, being unable to flee the slime attacking me.

You were the one that both replied to my ahelp within seconds AND the one to put the initial note on my account. Wordlessly putting the note on my account as well with no further input after you initial reply.

It was not until I noticed the note a few minutes after and sent a reply ahelp about it, that you responded, and I quote, "Admin PM from-RandolfTheMeh: Upon your persistence, I've looked through last rounds logs, and you would be correct, I made a mistake"

I'm assuming the crux of the issue is that failed disarms aren't logged which makes it look like you got disarmed once.

There's nothing about a baton for Omega, although I do see a name of an admin. Perhaps the situations were being combined erroneously?

As for the situation itself, it seems like after the initial ahelp nothing was said between the player/admin until after the note had been placed. I'm assuming this could have been avoided by painstakingly taking the ticket seriously despite the name associated with it.

I will probably unban you/remove the note because of that unless there's something I missing. However, while the dirty laundry is out, it's pretty evident no admin (at least the active ones) want to deal with your ahelps. I'd recommend being as clear and concise as you can or simply not ever going to the admins so I don't have to deal with a 100 page post about your rule 0/1/whatever it gets tossed under.
