Your side of the story: I was riding a borg as a Mime, and after strolling around the station for some time, the borg had the idea that we should set up the tesla. It was my first time setting up this engine as I don't often play engineer (or never have), and I agreed as it might be a great learning experience. During some time as we worked on it, the borg drifted out of the room to do something else. The clown walked in through the open door and began helping me. After about 5 minutes we got the emitter thingies working, and we turned it on. The clown exclaimed "MORE POWER!!!" so we cranked it up to max. As we thought we were doing great, we called our borg mentor over to check on how things were running. The borg rolled in and said "Good work." The assistant who I believe rode in on the borg then screamed "TURN IT OFF, THE SHIELD ISN'T UP!" We turned it off but it was too late. The tesla was rampaging around the chamber. Some time later, it killed me. After the clown and I died, I said in deadchat, jokingly, "Clown, we did great work today." I'll admit this was not the best thing to say in the current situation. I waited about ten minutes after my death for an administrator message, but never got one so I assumed it wasn't that much of an issue. In hindsight, I should've ahelped this to get it solved before I left, but at the time I was feeling like playing on a different server, which was about to start a new round and I didn't want to miss any round-start role opportunities.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I don't think the ban should be lifted completely, as I did sort of ruin the round for everybody, but the ban reason itself seemed harsh to read, as the tesloose was not intentional. I personally believe a week ban is a little too harsh for an accident influenced and assisted by multiple people, even if all three of us received the same punishment. I think a three to five day ban would be more appropriate considering the circumstances, but that's not up for my judgement.

Notice how you were right next to the clown. You seem to have left this bit out, you hearing him tell you to "make it blow", and your confirmation of it.

I've posted all PA Control logs. You and the clown have joint responsibility in the matter of releasing the tesla. As a result, a new player wasn't able to get their chance at a wizard round, and a tesla went about devastating the station. Not sure how you can claim this to be unintentional when you two quite clearly communicated your intent.

I see the extent of our actions now. I had disabled the PA after re-enabling it because I saw the assistant's message and realized something was wrong. Never crossed my mind that the clown was saying 'blow it up" during this entire thing, didn't remember it while writing this appeal. Now knowing I forgot that entire part sort of makes me question what I was thinking at the time. I'd also like to say sorry to that wizard. Thanks for the reply and justifying this, I can see why the ban's a week.
