Your side of the story:So I was the first chef of the round, round start I killed pete for meat and then planted some stuff in botany, I came back and a mime followed in after another chef that had just joined the round, naturally I attempted to remove the mime from the kitchen because he was being annoying, after I threw the mime into disposals and he jumped out both the chef and mime started to murder me, therefore I a-helped to check if it was valid or not, got a message from hbk saying he would "investigate" a solid fifteen minutes or so later after I had been cloned and had a syndiminibomb thrown at me during surgery he messages me back and tells me I was ban baiting and being a shitter and cited this rule? "killing someones pet makes you valid.*(unless the explicity say you can like some chefs will use it for meat"
Also he cited I was being banned because I escalated it? I a-helped for the chef that had joined the round after me murdering me. I didn't attack or touch the chef I only attempted to remove the mime from the kitchen. Here are some screencaps of what happened https://pastebin.com/fYfsd3Tf
Why you think you should be unbanned: I didn't really do anything wrong, this feels a bit unjustified, I get this is a one day ban, but I don't feel like it should've been applied in the first place, also sorry if I'm doing this appeal thing wrong first time posting.

At no point before or during the fight did any of these players speak a word to each other. I can't find precedent for becoming valid for killing your own pet, though judging from Terry's statements following the killing, Pete was a non-factor.

I don't see the part where Noel "aggrivated a player till the point they killed him". He tried to remove the mime from his own department and rather than speaking to Noel or pushing him over, Terry escalated straight to murder.

Hello so I've looked over the logs and chatted some more with players involved following.

I seem to have made a mistake in this instance and i'm sorry about that your ban has been lifted.

My understanding of the situation though is that you wordlessly attacked the mine for entering. The other player helped the mime out thinking you were going to murder them and they both attacked you in retaliation. The issue you came to me with is resolved.

I do want to caution that when someone breaks into your department that instead of attacking to get rid of them wordlessly however that you atleast ask them to leave first. Seems unreasonable to just attack and their escalation equally unreasonable.

No one will be banned in this instance but all involved have been cautioned about this for future reference.
