Permanent ban please appeal in forums to explain your side of the story.

Your side of the story: Me and a few other assistants started chasing a bright pink lizard mime for no apparent reason, other than for shits and giggles, I suppose. After racing down the hallway trying to catch them we knock them down and start kicking them. After they got put into critical condition, someone who I believed to be a doctor dragged them to medbay. Afterwards, a botanist and a bartender shot and killed me after beating me to death in central hallway after the other assistants dispersed, about 2-3 assistants, not sure. I then shitposted in deadchat and disconnected from the server, as I had things to do IRL, and didn’t expect anything bad to happen, as I didn’t believe the lizard died due to them being carried to medbay. I logged in a few hours later and found out I was banned.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I never had any real intention to kill the lizard mime, even if I did, I just thought it was funny at the time to chase a mime dressed in a maid outfit down the halls while screaming racially charged phrases, to which I did find a little amusing. I only wanted to hit them a few times, but as there were 3 other assistants hitting the mime as well, they got brought into softcrit pretty fast. Afterwards, all the assistants ran away, and I let myself get killed by the bartender and some botanist (I think) since I had to leave. I shitposted in deadchat as I normally do, and left the server. I recognize that if I stayed on the server rather than leaving, I would have most likely been left with a note or something else, rather than appealing a ban on the forums. It was never my intention to disconnect before an ahelp or the likes, since I never got an admin response, but to be fair I did leave relatively soon. For future reference, I’ll make sure I’m present longer if I do anything that could possibly be seen as rule breaking, such as this was.

Not only this, but I feel it is also relevant to mention that up until this point, which was about 5 minutes into the round, you had just been wordlessly shoving over a large number of people. You literally had done nothing else. Aside from shoving 6 people, you said "BONK" when you tableslammed the head of security, doing considerable brute damage to him after disarming him, and then finally "GET IT" as you pursued the mime.

I've included single lines to prove there were six people, but in most cases it was a few shoves.

I was going to reply with something very similar regarding the general behavior of the round but that has already been covered.

Can you please explain why you think this is quality behavior that aligns with the rules of our server?

If you feel it doesn't then please present what rules you would acknowledge you broke.

While what I was doing earlier in the round was for shits and giggles, and frankly dickish, it doesn't relate to my ban reason. I am not saying this is within server rule parameters, though. I know that it's not, and I acknowledge what I did. I never stated that I believed it was quality behavior for the server, however.
This is very obviously a Rule 1 Violation, don't be a dick, to which I also acknowledge, or more specifically Rule 1.1. I chased down someone at the behest of their round for my own enjoyment, but I didn't understand the full scale of it at the time.

Thank you for acknowledging the rules and how your behavior was in opposition to them. I'll lift the ban as time served but realize going forward mass scale antagonizing behavior can net you back in timeout. Personal enjoyment should not come at the direct cost of others. You have to share. It's something I can struggle with from time to time.
