Ban reason and length: Dayban, reason being I left someone on anesthetic and straightjacked for the majority (read, 95%) of the round. (30~ mins at the time of the ban)
Time ban was placed (including time zone): 1:15 AM central American

Your side of the story: Alright so, round start. I'm the captain, woo hoo. I spend some time getting all my shit together, get my dapper wintercoat on, step outside the bridge and some maniac is breaking into EVA, so I try to take him out to give time for security to show up since it was basically round start and they'd be gearing up. Im chasin him around missing cause I'm an awful shot, when the CMO, Azerethene Severen or something or other, hits me with a baton, takes my gun, starts screaming about how lizards aren't supposed to be captains and constantly disarming me and saying everything is against protocol. After chasing him for a bit to get my gun back, he drops it on the ground when a random greyshirt proceeds to pick it up and shoot my lights out with disabler beams. Probs would've died or got looted if it wasn't right outside sec hallway. After I get back up, the CMO is on his announcements inciting hate against me, the captain, because "LIZARDS GO AGAINST POLICY PREPARE YOURSELF CREW SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE" or something like that. So I go and demote him and take him into perma and question him as to why he did everything he did, and gave my gun to some random ass hat. His response, in laymens terms was, "ur a lizard". So yeah, I straightjacketed him and left him on anesthetic there, and he had it coming. If you are going to endanger the captain, drop weapons in the middle of a hallway, get a shit ton of negative opinion on the captain, and generally be an asshole for no reason other than hes a lizard harry, I feel like he deserved it.

Why you think you should be unbanned: He was being a massive shit with literally no reason to be other than I was a lizardman. That was his entire reasoning. He had it coming, and yeah sure, he was out for a long time, I know I'd be a salty whiny little bitch for being out for 5 minutes much less quintuple that, so yeah a warning or a note would've been totally fine, but a ban? I didn't just put him there FNR, right at roundstart he was fucking everything up big time, especially with the giving some random greyshirt a weapon when we had a possible cult/rev presence. All because I just wanted to be a fancy purple lizard.

SN: if the ban stays the ban stays. I can understand why it would stay, so if tsaricide doesn't have a change of heart and leaves me to my suffering then THATS THE WAY THE COOKIE CRUMBLES>

I'm going to say no so unless someone higher rank than me thinks this is a bad ban you'll have to wait.

Alright, for me to start. I'm sorry for the confusion, but apparently enforce_human_authority has recently been messed with, which would explain why the lizard was the captain
(the wiki and all other sources state that lizards are restricted from "Job Roles: Command Roles", "Lizards are barred from serving command roles on Nanotrasen stations", "However the threat of the United Earth Government terminating Nanotrasen's top secret plasma mining contract forced the addition of article 67 which barred Lizardmen from assuming a command level role" and "Centcom also maintains a strict "Human-Only" policy for Command Staff appointments.".)
I was not privvy to the fact that within the last day or so SoS messed with the setting to allow lizards to be command staff.

With that said, let's move onto this.

Incorrect. I did not hit you with my baton (and did not at any time during the round). I touched you exactly one time with disarm intent, picked up your weapon, and put it into my bag as it was obvious that you were not entirely proficient with the weapon and would likely cause some degree of harm while continuing to use it in the group of 4 or so people that were around you.

After I took your firearm, you proceeded to hit me multiple times with your baton, I pulled mine out and extended it but was unable to use it, dropping it immediately as you hit me with yours. I tried to make way to the bridge to remove myself from the situation, you chased me, along with that assistant, and proceeded baton me further. That assistant than disarmed you, picked up your baton, and struck you with it. Another assistant then intervened in the situation, disarming the instigating assistant. They then attacked one another, until the instigating assistant baton'd him.

I then went to the assistant who was assaulting you, and attempted to disarm him. You then picked up the dropped baton, and struck me again with it. A third assistant shaked me up, I then disarmed you since you kept batoning me even when I was clearly now assisting you. I then fled after the second disarm attempt, running towards medbay from northern central primary. You were following me at the time, and I dropped your weapon infront of you as I was running and proceeded on to medbay.

After I get back up, the CMO is on his announcements inciting hate against me, the captain, because "LIZARDS GO AGAINST POLICY PREPARE YOURSELF CREW SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE" or something like that. So

The exact message was "Chief Medical Officer's Desk Announcement:
NANOTRASEN RESPOND. SITUATION BROWN - CAPTAIN IS A LIZARD. THIS IS A DIRECT VIOLATION OF COMMAND PROTOCOLS. REPEAT, CAPTAIN IS A LIZARD. SEND IMMEDIATE SUPPORT"

Rather hilarious imo, and perfectly within reason IC'ly, since lizards are technically barred by all nanotrasen protocols from being command staff. It was overal meant as a joke, however.

You charged right into my office, tasered me, brought me to the bridge, stripped me of everything, had the HOP produce a new ID for me. You said that I stole your firearm and gave it to an assistant. I argued that, then dropped it since you proceeded on.

You brought me to the locker room with new ID in hand, opening all the lockers with clothing, selecting a color you felt was most fitting, and putting it on me along with a pair of shoes. You then went to the opposite side of the room and opened a locker with a backpack and headset, but then diverted and decided to bring me up to perma instead. Then buckled me into the bed and set the internals on, where I stayed for 10 or so minutes.

I reply by stating command protocols regarding nonhumans in command positions, apologizing multiple times for the incident. I then restated the events and how they happened to you, however you dismissed it by saying that I incited hate against you with my announcement. I apologize again, stating once against the company policy, and affirm that I would not have any further incidents.

You came back about 10 minutes later to change out my anesthetic tank.

About 10 more minutes after changing out the tank (30 minutes into the scentence), I sent in an ahelp to ask about the captain's abilities in sentencing, since the overall involvement on my part was merely disarming you a total of two times, and making some verbal comments about your species (which once again Nanotrasen policy coincide with). Assault in space law is typically a five minute sentence, however my sentence was a total of atleast 30 minutes by the time I had sent the ahelp, and I was mostly just curious about what kind of leeway the captain would have in this kind of situation.

In the end, I spent about 50+ minutes of the round in a straight jacket w/ anesthetic in the perma psych ward. I was surprised when Tsaricide responded by telling me that you were banned, as I concur with you in that the situation probably should have been capped to a warning at max.

I have a huge hate for the race wurr lizzurd people so admittedly I took it out on you and I apologize cause like I said, id be a huge salty babby for being out for five minutes.

But yeah if tsar feels like the ban sticks then it sticks no probs it was pretty over the line.
