on 1/23/2021, i posted this message in the coding channel on the discord:

"@oranges#0001 can i be unbanned now its been like a year and i want to code this idea, add the baystation code of species having differnet colored blood but catgirl species gets yellow blood so it looks like they are pissing themselves" because i have been gitbanned for at least a year now and i thought it would be a good idea to propose an idea that i would code in order to get unbanned from the discord. What i did not realize is that my message was
1. possibly seen as me wanting to add fetish content (but the yellow blood would be for comedic effect and not actual piss or anything)
2. breaking rule 5 of the channel as listed on https://www.oranges.net.nz/asking_questions.html which is stated "Use a role ping if it's urgent, otherwise just put your question out with no pings, people are more likely to respond if you don't ask a specific person as they won't feel like they're stepping on someone elses toes. Furthermore, there are likely specialists with regard to the topic that you don't know about who will reveal themselves by responding." I was unaware of the rule at the time since it was in the channel topic and not in the discords rules channel so i apologize for not reading that.

So anyways after i made that post i got muted from the channel and now i cant post in there. While I am not asking that i be immediately unbanned the day after breaking the rules, I at least ask that my mute be shortened from an indefinite amount of time, to a week or two considering it is my first discord rule violation.
