Your side of the story: The HoS had been extremely disagreeable during the round and proceeded to baton me for walking away after not reporting the new criminal I had just brigged, which I had been on my way to make the records for so that they could read why their sentence was as stated. Following the attack, I stunned the HoS and ran in fear of being stunned again as punishment. The round was Revs and I was approached after a while by a few of them in the central hallway, so I basically had a fight for flight reaction and offered to join in return that they don't kill me. I spent most of the remaining hour or so of the round under the supervision of the revs until the shuttle arrived, in which point I was bwoinked and subsequently banned for turncoating as a security officer. I understand that I was in no place to keep my gear and such an informal resignation would be considered breaking rules; though as previously mentioned, I was acting in my believed best interest by running away due to not wanting to get further attacked by the HoS and joining the Revs seemed like the only real option since they'd kill me otherwise.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I had made a poor decision in the heat of the moment and even continued my ignorance for quite a bit afterwards, as it took me a day or two to truly realize how badly I had messed up. My goal was solely to get as far away from security as possible, and the revolution not killing me would have helped such a situation, so I roleplayed it out and hashed out a shaky term of peace with them, since they couldn't turn me into a rev. I believe that despite the aforementioned disregard of server rules, that I should be allowed a pardon of the remaining time on my ban. My reasoning is that I have waited throughout around half of it and intend on rectifying further issues through more formal means rather than blatantly breaking the rules.
References of good conduct:My note history is a lengthy one, so it begins to feel like the whole spiel of "Everything you say can and will be used against you." though I believe that in spite of my somewhat recent actions on the server, that I had showed an amount of promise in redemption that wouldn't have been there if I weren't trying my utmost to not make repeat mistakes. I know at least a few people have enjoyed roleplaying and/or spending their time around me or my character, as well as the fact that in the most part, I've been utterly apologetic following my wrongdoings, barring the current one I'm being punished for as I was not in the right mental state to properly summarize and understand what had occurred.
Anything else we should know: I made this appeal in the recent following of being banned from Fulpstation because I dared to mention Skyrat in a nonsexual remark. Apparently since it was still considered an ERP server despite their current, more prominent goals of focusing on actual development rather than adding back in any of the previous degenerate shit that they had before. I just want to find a server where I can truly enjoy the game, and I feel like TG offers the best chance for that personally.

Alright, I went over the logs from the round, since I remembered the events of the round occurring differently from how you described.

Firstly, it appears the HoS attempted to have you demoted for initially refusing to take part in the hunt for a known and violent , if hammy and amusing, traitor. Who had previously announced themselves to security and beaten up the HoS when they attempted to arrest them for it, and then later not responding to them at all

You bemoaning the arrest of the traitor

The HoS attempting to arrest you for demotion and you stunning them back
Normally under RP rule three, Heads of staff, especially the head of security, are protected by metaprotection when attempting to demote staff who have engaged in actions that would reasonably hold up for demoting someone in a real job.
However, since I can't find any reference to the HoS actually communicating their intent to demote you beyond an unnecessarily aggressive declaration of intent to "terminate" you, I don't find it unreasonable that you decided to flee from them when they led baton first in an attempt to arrest you.
After calling on the traitor from earlier to attack the HoS - relatively normal salty behaviour and while it toes rule 3 for security it's not really the focus of this ban so I'm going to give it a pass - wandering around for a few minutes and having a short non-violent conversation with a revolutionary - you run into the scarp traitor again and directly ask them to flash you.
Transparency - I've cut up parts of the logs here taken from both of your personal logs and a view over the main game log to cut out logs of people saying things on other parts of the station, as far as I know I haven't missed any random say logs that are relevant to this conversation, but if I have, let me know and I'll re-examine.

Your second sentence in this conversation is a request for antag conversion - with nothing said about you being under threat for non-compliance or any negotiation for your safety implicit.
You later directly ask Urist if he is aware of any head revolutionaries - with the express stated purpose of becoming converted
You then attempted to track down a headrev directly, still seeking conversion
and again
at this point the revolution has succeeded - with accompanying station wide announcement
And you're still trying to be converted - going as far as having your mindshield voluntarily removed for a chance at conversion
Voluntarily seeking to become an antagonist by conversion is against the rules on all /tg/ servers, especially as security, and given the lengths you went to to enable your attempts at conversion - not just surrender, but full antagonist conversion - and the fact that you were already on probation for antag rolling AND after being expressly warned the round before this not to grudge other players when you feel hard done by, convinces me that this ban is valid, and I will not be removing it fully.
Having said that, I've talked with Pumpkin0 and the other admins in adminbus, and it was agreed that the escalation to a four month ban that was the original ban that was reinstated when you broke your probation was overly harsh, and as such I'll be lowering this ban down to a month, with the time served on your original four month ban (three days) removed from the total - which should bring your unbanning date to the 21st of this month.
Please try to keep more of a level head when your ban expires, and enjoy the game.
Edit as I forgot to mention it before. - As you have been previously warned for antag rolling, admitted to it in the past, and this was a pretty clear attempt to become voluntarily converted to an antagonist as a role which should absolutely not ever be doing that, Adminbus and I are in agreement that the antagonist component of the ban will remain, it is only the server ban which is being shortened.

I apologize for leaving out portions of the story, as despite it being no excuse, I have a lousy memory and only remembered running from the HoS and finding myself in the company of Revs. Hell, I got attacked by one later on during the round before clarification of my involvement in the revolution was brought to their attention. I quite honestly completely blanked on Dick Kicksby even being in that round, let alone what had occurred in regard to him being under arrest or assaulting the HoS. I apologize, as this was entirely my fault for the misremembering of events leading down to the ban. May I ask if the antagonist ban is permanent? I cannot exactly remember what the jurisdiction on such was.
