Why you think you should be unbanned: I just chilling and making mechs as a roboticist come into robotics and see the mime and the traitor doing things, i ask them to leave and the traitor flashes me and force feeds me a pill, then flashes me again and gives me the "you are a sentient lightbulb" command, i (knowing that hypnoflashes are really dangerous and can be used to easily round remove eg,(turn off suit sensors and jump out of an airlock) i promptly attacked them with the mech and gibbed them, reported my hypnotizing to sec and moved on. i was then banned for "over-escalation", how is this over-escalation, i see someone with a dangerous weapon, the means to stop them, and they attacked me with it already and could kill me at any time with a kill yourself command.

When someone is hypnotized, its generally considered good faith to interpret the command to the best of your ability, and make for an interesting gimmick! The opportunity to be given such a command was ripe for a lot of comedic roleplay, as you could've pretended to be a lightbulb, illuminating places since you're an ethereal, and occasionally buzzing. You, however, instead chose to do this:

Instead of taking the opportunity to spice up the scenario, and make for an interesting gimmick, you opted to completely disregard your command other than randomly spouting "LIGHTBULBS BURN", and proceeded to gib Zachary Hensha with an exosuit drill. Not only is this in extremely bad faith, but you've also avoided interacting with anyone in any meaningful or fun way. Round removing someone for hypnotizing you with a joke, is not acceptable behavior. Its not fun to do, to anyone, for that matter.

This is not to mention that earlier in the round, you've already been noted for over-escalating already:

Purposefully stabbed someone's brain with a screwdriver who asked to be borged, rendering it unusable until it was repaired with mannitol. Afterwards, just left the destroyed brain on the desk of chemistry unsupervised. Did this because the brain owner tied their shoelaces together once. --- Has a history of over-escalation - warned to tread lighter grounds or face increasing server bans for over-escalating often.
