Your side of the story: As the permaban happened in 2014, and to my knowledge I have played on this account as late as 2019, I think this is an error, and my specific not actually banned. I have no memory of the incident. It might be someone at my address who lived here before me got banned ten years ago. I'm running this out of a windows VM so that might have something to do with it too.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I don't I am the intended target of this ban.
Anything else we should know: I've been a long-time player of tg station who has been away from the game for a few couple years. I used to play under "Comrade Thorne" as my character name. I hope that might help verify I'm not the guy who was permabanned.

Had a quick look and found it.

Yup, it'll be your VM that triggered it. Certain VM setups and pirated/unregistered copies of Windows tend to share CIDs.

Evaders tend to use these same tools to evade. They then get banned with a certain set of credentials. Everyone else that connects using the same VM or pirated copy of Windows gets caught under their ban.

You appear to have been caught under one of those bans. Can you give connecting to Sybil a shot now and let me know if you can get in?
