Your side of the story:
I suppose this isn't wrong but I'm not sure about the accusation. I've been really bored and not doing much of anything, and a bunch of stuff at once, and sometimes I'd fire up SS13 to see what was happening, who was around, what shenanigans I could get up to.
I'm not here just to antag roll, but I definitely was seriously lacking in engagement and often would go SSD after anywhere from a to 10 minutes. My intentions aren't to just rack up frags and grief, I just really have been disengaged in general. I also observe a lot, sometimes JUST to see what's happening, because I'm curious and I like the game. Sometimes when I do that I stay around afk, sometimes I wait for the next round, sometimes I just close it if the station is chill or if I decide to do something else, and boot up another game, but I doubt that's the issue here. I definitely have gone SSD in maints way too fast some too many times and it's not a good thing, and that is something I can happily stop.
Why you think you should be unbanned:
I could stop this behavior, be a more active part of the crew, happily. I didn't realize it was so intense of a problem, but I also think I might be getting it a little too hard here. My play time here goes back to like 2011, I very much love this game and love /tg/station, and have since that era. A permanent ban simply feels very extreme, even a permanent antag ban. My intentions weren't to antag roll, to be a bad actor, nor to play in bad faith, I let boredom make some choices for me and they were detrimental. If I were here to antag roll and cause problems, I wouldn't have asked to have heretic removed from me and give it to someone else during round 201473, on the 9th of the month. I would have thrown my life away to drop as many bodies, but I asked for admin help with that because someone else would have made actual use of the experience instead of doing so. I will happily actually play the game, join for it and be more present, which I think I have quite a rich history of doing.

Finally, in R201654, I noticed you disconnected at the start of the shift, checked your Scrubby to make sure it wasn't a regular thing, saw a pattern, and it only got worse from there.

These logs paint a pretty clear picture for me. I'm willing to lift the permanent server ban, but the permanent antag ban is going to have to remain until you can start playing the game normally again--subject to the "play for a month normally and appeal" policy I enforce for these sorts of things. Does that work for you?
