[Cheshify] Captain Cometbilge - "Explosive" cannonballs

Your side of the story: I spawned as a pirate, i moved my ship to face the cannons toward the escape shuttle, then i went to the middle of the ship did a SpongeBob Capitan bit, fired four cannonballs to break open the escape shuttle to steal id's and kidnap people after firing four cannonballs i stoped fireing them shouted "lets board them!" pointed toward the shuttle and then had my entire crew gibbed by an admin and i got bowiked for fireing explosive cannonballs which i didn't.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I was noted for something that i didn't do, i have no reason to have this note as i didn't do what the note says i did.

Here are some of the logs i could find proving my innocence, i couldn't find the logs where i pick up items.

Ok, so it's unknown what which pirate actually loaded each cannon with what, since I couldn't retrieve them from logs, but from the attack logs of 206851

One in particular gibbed a person.

It does track that each time a shuttle was hit by an explosive shell, Gunner Solarhlem/GorgleBing was firing just before, when combining the logs.

Also the third pirate, Mate Pulsarhelm/Sakke03 was never involved in firing the cannons according to logs, even though they were similarly gibbed.

I just saw the xyz cords you can see that the coords for the explosive ones dont match up from where im standing, but do match where gunner is, i guess that proves my innocence enough right?

So I still feel like soggy cardboard but I'm going to try to vocalize my issue with all of this while I'm lucid.

Pirates are restricted antags on MRP, their general objectives and playstyle revolve around stealing things. Broadsiding the emergency shuttle, the lack of communication with your team that you were to kidnap people, and using explosives all read as actions taken to maximise the killcount on the shuttle.

I've seen pirates spawn late and rush the shuttle immediately to grief it by killing as many people as possible, and due to your IC logs, I believe that was the plan. I don't think that you genuinely believed that you could get on the shuttle in the last two minutes of the round and extract living survivors to ransom.

Either way, that supports the gibbing and telling you to knock it off, but the note is inaccurate. I'll remove it.

Also yeah I kinda fucked up with gibbing that third guy. It was an action taken at the time to prevent further grief that I believe benefited the round. They were in crit, but that's not much of an excuse. Sorry.

Just to sum up how I feel. The note isn't accurate so it's being removed. I still call bullshit on the pirates actually trying to kidnap people and not greeding for a killcount, very lame regardless.

Pirates have a double hijack speed. Noting this here as it seems pirates are intended to hijack the shuttle. Thus damaging the shuttle seems fine in the codes eyes

Code isn't policy, and they never said anything about hijacking.

Alright so I'm choosing to agree with "feeling awful me" and i've removed the note since it wasn't accurate, though I had full reason to believe so at the time considering the half-used pile of explosive cannons. I do also agree with my previous statement that this was kinda just lame behavior in general, and I don't believe your plan was to hijack/kidnap people/not try to rack up the highest kill count possible.
