Your side of the story: I had just joined and went AFK for a bit, and I come back to see dudes in OOC arguing about how there shouldn't be any IC in OOC, and I made a joke about OOC being rogue because they were saying IC shit *supposedly, I never actually bothered to scroll up*. Unfortunately it just so happened to be at the same time the malf AI released the singulo so I got banned.
Why you think you should be unbanned: It was seriously just a shitty coincidence. I had just left the arrivals shuttle and only logged into the round not more than 2 minutes into it and made that joke, all I knew was the power was off, and that could be for just about any reason on lowpop. there was no way in shape or form this was intentional, and I don't really think I have any type of history with IC in OOC or anything like that so I don't get why I was permabanned on the spot without at least a simple inquiry, which would've led to me explaining the joke was just bad luck and bad timing on my part and not in any way an attempt/malicious attempt to reveal the round type.

As someone in the round, in the chat at the time of the ban, a perma is way too harsh. "Because I can" is a horrible reason to ban someone forever because of an IC in OOC comment that could be construed as a coincidence. You know what would help more? A quick ban, or, god forbid, a warning of some sort so players could have a chance to learn from their mistakes. This would never have happened had it not been a late-night game with no other admins on.

yes, I was screaming singularity because it was coming toward the HOP and I, with the HOP running head first toward it, and I was in the middle of typing that joke when I noticed a bunch of shit flying away. Again, I had no idea the AI was rogue aside from the lights being out. didn't even factor in the singularity bit because AGAIN, that could be for virtually any reason on lowpop.

It was a shitty joke at a shitty time and permabanning me without any inquiry was garbage especially when I have, AFAIK, no recent history of IC in OOC. As you can see I was barely in the round for more than ten minutes, most of which was just spent in the arrivals shuttle/hallway to center bridge area, with me just fucking about with my favorite, Autumn Sinnow.

Post the rest of the OOC logs from that Rumany dude and the Banana guy, I'm positive before I said that joke they were talking about ic in ooc shit. Which is why I made the joke, referring to them going rogue in ooc by saying shit. Unfortunately, I couldn't explain myself, as previously noted there was no inquiry or bwoink.

A permaban seems rather desperate and, putting on my tinfoil hat here for a moment, I don't really remember having the best interaction or history with you, so I can understand as to why you'd just want me gone or try to grasp at straws to keep me banned.

Yes, I saw Rumyany say that, and I thought someone had been ICing in OOC, which would've meant OOC was rogue, so I made that shitty joke.

I never IC in OOC in any case, even fake IC in OOC ever since I got a wrist slap for it. Even on super low pop rounds with less than 10 people and no admins. This was a shit coincidence and a permaban without question is silly.

edit: To give a rundown of the entire round from my POV to avoid any bullshit about me doing some shittery or anything.

I was a latejoin chef, started acting gay over comms just to get some mirthless chuckles by just saying random dumb shit occasionally. I walk towards the bridge, lights are off, turn on my PDA light, continue towards bridge, see Autumn Sinnow *my favorite* , and climb over the bridge table *the bridge had a bunch of broken windows* to hug her. We have a short convo about me "sayin' o' dat geyy shit" over the radio and I told her I'd stop. We start going toward the bar with Ian in tow, around this time I THINK, Rumany said the OOC in IC thing. My peabrain starts ruminating up the joke when I notice shits getting sucked into a singulo and the HOP was rushing right towards it, so I closed the OOC prompt and told her SINGULARITY!! to avoid going in that direction. I told the joke. Some fires broke out and Ian died, still in the bar at this time. I tell Autumn she's super pretty and blow myself to gibs with oxytank suicide. Rumany goes off on me for revealing the round type when I had no clue it was malf in the first place, I'm ghosted and just chilling in deadchat, OOC gets disabled, permaban.

Also, even though no information was revealed to me as my time in deadchat was very brief, I still told the joke BEFORE I suicided, or at least I was not dead when I told it, so there's no "well he was in deadchat so he could reveal the round type" or something along those veins.
