Ban type (What are you banned from?): Server 1, 2 and #supportbus

Ban reason and length: "Warned to stay out of OOC if he's just going to sit on the lobby, as he has been many times before by other admins. Refuses to listen, so. Uh. Yeah. You can't say you weren't warned, fam."

Time ban was placed (including time zone): 2015-10-25 23:05:17 Server time

Your side of the story: I spent the majority of my time either in the lobby or observing, And while during this I repeatedly shitposted in OOC, deadchat and adminhelps. After being warned multiple times and banned twice (First for one day, next for two days) I eventually got permabanned by HBL.
I then got banned from IRC and the Forums for being a dick to a certain player in IRC, but the forum ban and some of the IRC ban has since been lessened.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I was a unhelpful arrogant cunt, and refused to listen to anybody (even when I was distrupting/ruining the rounds of admins and players alike). I believe I can actually play the game well (As I've actually never been banned for IC actions, even when I did play) and won't fuck with people OOC.

I don't mind if admins impose additional restrictions/probations either.

Can I please have a second chance? I just want to play spacemens again.

I feel like this appeal is way too soon.

I feel like a probation would be worth it here. Even though they've been a shitler, it seems like they are genuinely sorry about it now.

Let's say you go into a place of business. You get banned from the establishment for whatever reason.

You then proceed to go to a nearby bar that people who frequent the business also frequent, and spend two months talking about how shit the business is to everyone who will listen, and those who don't listen.

After those two months you then proceed to go back to the business and beg to be allowed back in, claiming you've changed and that you won't do what got you kicked out in the first place.

What do you think the administration of the business you are banned from is going to say to you?

I propose the "everything I said was just a joke!!!" excuse be declared as valid as "My brother was on my account and did this stuff" excuse.

I request that an actual headmin weigh in on this ASAP, and the thread be locked until said headmin weighs in.

So you weren't angry at all about being banned, and 2 solid months of pretty much every post being insulting the tgstation players, admins, coders, and community as a whole was "all a joke" and not at all because you were pissed about being banned?

Punnches hasn't changed. His denial of his faults shows in more ways than any other.

You wanna know how many OOC posts there were in the months before got banned? I think it was something like 20000. Now Punnches talked so very very much, that he was literally 4000 of these 20000 OOC posts in total. In a chat where there are probably a couple hundred unique visitors in total, this one dude managed to make a retarded amount of posts while never even playing the game, doing all of this just sitting in the lobby.

i was 20,000 out of 150,000 OOC posts actually, a buddy got the logs for the entirety of 2015 and checked

Is there a way this can be done cleverly? Like if his OOC behavior was the problem, is there way mechanics-wise you could just do a (very) long-term OOC player mute?

An apology or two isn't an example of change. Anyone can apologize for something and not mean it. People and logs from other servers, communities, or places on the internet showing you've learned how to conduct yourself in an online setting is an example of change.

I don't care if it's Baystation, Goon, VGstation, Ars Technicia, somethingawful, pornhub comments, or wattpad stories. Come back with something from somewhere showing that between the time of your ban and now, you've been able to communicate elsewhere without being a complete turd.

Relevant ban history, all he did was start arguments in OOC and post shit no one cared about, server was much better off after he was gone and it should stay that way
