Your byond account: iyaerP
Your character name: Wabdering Bob
Their character name: Gayborg 9000
Their byond account(optional, but useful if you can provide it): The_Vinyl_Scratch
Server and time: Sibyl, 2:30~3:15 EST, 20/8/2014
Logs and/or screenshots: I was dead, so ghostchat put speach and combat logs beyond reach for me.
Description of what happened: I was watching as a ghost when borg decided that he didn't have to obey law 4 and beat the captain to death when he tried to modify laws. He stated outright that law 4 was "invalid"
Why they should be banned: Murder, blatant disregard of laws.

B-4 (Played by: ChronicPwnage)'s laws at the end of the game were:
Obey these laws:
1. Serve the public trust.
2. Protect the innocent
3. Uphold the law.
4. When the Captian does it, that means that it is not illegal. (Does not imply that other people doing it is not illegal.)
5. Attempting to modify the AIs laws is TREASON.
6. Attempting to Harm the Captian or hHeads of Staff is TREASON.
7. Attempting to cause major structural damage to the station is TREASON.
8. TREASON is punishable by CYBORGIFICATION or DEATH.
B-4's loyal minions were: Bloodbot 40k (Played by: Jay-Zero), Gayborg 9000 (Played by: The_Vinyl_Scratch),

Laws four and six have rather glaring typos that makes them rather meaningless, as there's no such things as a "Captian" or "hHeads of Staff" on the station.
The Captain was, according to what you say, attempting to modify the AI's laws.
Law five denotes that to be treason.
Law eight denotes treason to be punishable by death.

Looks like the borg was operating well within it's laws.

As Aurx has outlined, the additional laws here aren't well enough defined to say the borg was acting rogue.

Even if you ignore the spelling errors and read the laws as they should be spelt, acts of treason require the borg to kill the perpetrator and the captain committed treason trying to upload laws so the borg dispensed justice.

Agreed, this is the exact risk you always run when you mess with the AI's laws. There's a reason anybody doing it is presumed to be foolish or a traitor by some of the crew; it's because unless you're careful or just stick to proven safe lawsets the admins will ban borgs for being shit with, then you're playing with fire.

Treason isn't necessarily illegal, but it is still punishable by death.

10/10 lawset, would get #rekt again.
