Description of what happened:
We were having an argument trying to convince dawgas to turn off his antag slot selection if he's just gonna never use his telecrystals and erp all god damn round. I mentioned about how it dicks over his team in team gamemodes like cult and rev when he does that shit, and then he says that he suicides to avoid conversion. He then confirms this several times.
Why they should be banned:
He admitted to breaking game rules and suiciding inorder to avoid conversion whenever someone tries to convert him/her/it, likely in order to go erp with his metafriend. Infront of several game administrators. I'd say this is grounds enough for a ban.

Suiciding or ghosting to avoid conversion isn't against the rules, last I checked, even as a common behavior?

I think it falls under the "don't fuck over your team in a team based game mode" rules. I'll doublecheck, but I'm pretty sure it is against the rules. At the very least it seems like a rule 1 violation, as it's being a dick to the 3 cultists who coordinated to convert you.

When I read those IRC logs, I get "If they can't convert me fast enough, I suicide to prevent them", instead of "I suicide if I get converted".

Still doesn't make him not an unfun dickhead even if he did nothing wrong by rule standards. It's minor powergaming

Earlier in the convo, you were looking for an excuse to ban Dawgas/Fuzzle. Fuck off Goofball, dawgas is bad but this is even worse.

So loophole abuse is allowed?

As that's what this is, a loophole to the "no suiciding right after being converted" shit.

Since it's apparently becoming an issue, if you are not involved in this ban request or an admin do not post in this thread.

Those that had their posts removed, from reading them it seems a better place to put those would be a thread in policy discussion regarding this issue.

I am 100% against suicide to prevent conversion. If we don't allow converts to suicide, we should not allow this.
