Bottom post of the previous page:

Then please (no, really: please. It would be very nice of you to do so) make that clear next time instead of displaying a distanced mode of communication that, to my untrained eyes, appears to be between insulting and passive-aggressive.
It is hard to read emotions over text.

Thank you for the peaceful resolution, however.

It was passive-aggressive, your jokes and puns are bad and you should feel bad. They are annoying and awful and it's nonstop all round even when no one is talking in OOC. One of these days, I'll get a ban to stick :^)

deleted multiple posts covered by anon3 amendment from FNR ban appeals

for example in a recent appeal I pointed out that admins arent allowed to handle their own appeals ahelp and in another I pointed out that if the person in question doesnt have ick ock notes they should usually only be warned or noted the first time. my posts weren't the only ones sent to post hell.

people arent trying to minimod and they're not trying to make a ruling, they're pointing out actual relevant rules that will help with the appeal like come on.

Admins usually handle their own appeals

The guy had 6 previous IC in OOC bans in the past month.

Nothing in your post was relevant or true.

that's why i wrote if cause i dont have access to his notes???

even if that one of multiple posts was inaccurate. that wasn't even the only post he deleted.
not only my posts were deleted, you should know.
Kor wrote: not relevant
usual ruling for ic in ooc violations is not relevant to an ic ock ban appeal.

ok.

do you know how to argue without a strawman for once?

i never said otherwise, in fact, in my first post i explained that im not saying EXACTLY THIS, how did you fuck that one up kor?

drank too much sarsaparilla out of your cowboy hat?

And if your post had been relevant it could have stayed, but it wasn't.

You have not been punished or harmed, you made a hedged statement about a videogame rule that didnt matter to the conclusion of the thread and it got deleted.

what about the other people's posts? if all of my posts were "hedged" statements.

one more thing, their reasoning for deleting some of the posts is:
Image

stop cherry picking things to go against, i literally told you not only my posts were deleted multiple times now.
my posts weren't the only ones sent to post hell.
not only my posts were deleted, you should know.

niknak didnt commit a cardinal sin that you requires you to aggressively defend them with fallacies kor, it's literally just "it'd be cool if they kept posts relevant and important to the discussion in their place"

>inb4 ignores what i said again and "but your posts werent relevant or important to the discussion!!!!!!"
What did he mean by this?
i meant handle their own ahelp

ignore this:
Spoiler:
oh, I thought you were accusing me of minimodding and trying to give a ruling, in that case, I have news for you my brother.

https://tgstation13.org/wiki/Admin_Conduct
Don't handle an adminhelp that involves you. Admins can't involve themselves as both an admin and player in a matter. This also means adminhelping like any other player would if you want to report an issue. Another admin will be needed to help you.

sos was shit on for handling their own appeal, why is it suddenly okay for him (THE ADMIN DOING THE APPEAL, NOT NIKNAK) to do that too?

admins are explicitly told to handle their own appeals unless a headmin gets dragged into it
ingame ahelp != appeal

if you want to continue discussing this i suggest moving it to policy discussion cause im kind of shitting up nik's lawn.

a lot of people have been saying otherwise late 2017.

also fuck this thread for popping up into my gmail, i never subscribed to this shit

I was being a bit of bitch in adminhelp after dying to a particularly overzealous captain and NikNak handled the situation (not in my favour) with a levelheadness that I certainly didn't deserve.

Where "event" feedback should go?

Hopped on Manuel during sextended round and went crazy with buttons. Making revenant and abductors in one go is something not too far away from what RNG does, but what RNG does not is quickly smashing anomaly button bunch of times resulting in explosions, plasma fires, mass teleportations and other slimes all over the place. Resulting chaos was too much to bear and round ended quickly with shuttle evac. https://tgstation13.org/parsed-logs/man ... /game.html

I never see that admin staying online there and did not like them just going online to go ham with buttons.

Revs and abductors are baby tier antagonists. The anomalies lit two rooms on fire that nobody cared about and destroyed the brig hallway. Engineers actually fixed the brig hallway and I don't think anyone even died. Anomalies aren't that destructive it just happened that RNG spawned like 3 in that same brig hallway. Anomalies were spawned in after 2 hours and 15 minutes of extended which the round then continued for another 45 minutes or so with the shuttle being called 30-35 minutes after anomaly spawn. The round ended up being close to 3 hours long in total. Ultimately the AI called the shuttle because of the events that happened, nobody asked it to and nobody recalled.

All in all, I take this feedback with a grain of salt because by the time the shuttle was actually called at no prompting, the brig hallway was already repaired and the two pyro slimes barely did any harm with one dying to a bartender while it was eating a catatonic human. Sure the round ended in 45 minutes but I blame that more on the AI than anything I did seeing as the actual spawned antagonists weren't that antagonistic or lethal and the anomaly damage minimal or already repaired. It wasn't my choice to end the round nor was the destruction anywhere near catastrophic levels either.
