Can we get a small blerb about the admin? I don't recognize the name. What server is their main?

I'm pretty happy with what I've seen of them so far. They also cover the late night Basil zone which is something that previously was without an admin for a lot of the time. Expecting good things from them.

I haven't seen them do much so far, I thought they were an admin observer and had no real duties afaik. were they promoted to trial?

Making /tg/ RP friendlier by making up rules on the spot, regardless of the actual rules and policies. Headmins had to bend the rules in order to justify this guy's actions to the point where it was obvious to the most people that the admin team is corrupted.

There is no salt, its resignation since I was dragged through the system for 8 days without the reality of actually getting these things looked into. Now imagine you gloating in an admin feedback thread over somebody getting put down.

Imagine doing something within the confines of the rules but the hidden amendment that says you can’t take them out of the round TOO much gets you banned along with “history” that no admin seems to have marked you for before. Then when you try to justifiably dispute the ban it gets overturned so you take it to complaints where it also gets overturned. I can definitely empathize with the frustration.

Relaying this situation here when it seems like headmins want to support this notion is useless though. His only sensible recourse is to lay low until it’s next headmin voting season and campaign against these people and those that think similarly.

Imagine being an admin, then imagine being as petty as you are and mocking a player who was in the right, yet got "owned" by the admins ganging up on them and saying "lol, we don't care that you are in the right, we have the power to do anything we want". Maybe you are right and I don't fit in with people like you.

@Cobby, I appreciate you having some common sense and basic human decency. Hopefully voicing an unpopular opinion and not dogpiling on someone doesn't bite you in the ass.

Like seriously I have no idea how anyone can unironically defend this ban because I murder people who try and hand out all access for no reason all the time

hope they don’t get discouraged by the ban appeal fiasco, solid admins at obscure hours are in short supply especially after summer ends. has great potential and I’d hate to see it lost to 1 silly situation.

I feel sorry for them because they came to the right conclusion, which was do nothing because it was an IC situation, and then later were convinced by people posting in adminbus to ban isto based on what I can only assume is a dislike of the playstyle.

Good job to them, unfortunate outcome, next time I'd advise them to stick with their gut because they made the right call.

Ran a pretty great Kingdom Hearts themed event yesterday. Good lad.

Amusingly for a supposedly bagil-oriented admin, has been tag-teaming Sybil with the usual Sybilgang admin team and has acclimated quite well. Seems to always be there in the background, and doesn't seem to be actively belligerent at all. Comfy admin, would compare to Ringo Starr again.

She hosts really fun events and overall seems fairly nice. I've only positive experiences with this admin.

No complaints, and is genuinely calm in ahelp responses.

Made the mistake of giving ekat a 500% capacity PKA. Didn't know better at the time, and dealt with it quickly and efficiently... by sending in a fucking 12 man ERT with multiple mechs against that ungodly broken clusterfuck of a gun which could crit in 2 to 3 shots and kill in 3/4 in normal pressure and fired at extreme speed. We needed what we sent at it.

Co-adminned a round with them where we had a wiz request a trader gimmick. Went above and beyond just giving the wizard an unlimited upgrade scroll, TheMidnightRose set up a themed ferry for the wizard along with shop stock and continued to oversee the gimmick throughout the round. Very cool.

A very relaxed, fair admin who hangs around Manuel and spices up the round often A++

Very good Manuel admin.

I'd like to add that She is very chill compared to most other Manuel admins. Generally a kind person.

I don't like how they engage the players. Looking through how they answer tickets, I have two problems. Some bans are placed without a bwoink, and initial ahelps to players are sometimes overly aggressive. We have to remember as admins that players ahelping or bwoinked are put on the spot and may be worked up over some BS that went on with the round.

And as a final note I think you should be kinder to newer accounts, mistakes happen yaknow? Set notes to expire after a month if it's their first few.
