MrAlphonzo has now been in the .txt as a Trial Admin for ROUGHLY two months, good on him.

Please use this thread as public review; it's encouraged for players to comment on how well/badly the trial admin has done and whether or not they think the trial admin should be made a full admin, if they should be removed from the .txt or if their promotion should be delayed.

i think he's an alright guy but i havent had enough admin interactions with him to say whether to promote or not. i did somewhat dislike what he did with the janitor/detective thing but he was new and inexperienced and im sure hes gained experience since then. just my two cents

He's the most intrusive admin event wise, take that as you will but that's what i've seen of him.

On the other hand, I really like adminning with him and i'm sure others do. He's very fun to be around.

If I was in his shoes I wouldn't have done anything different except wording. I daresay it was out of inexperience.

I just experienced several rounds with MrAlphonzo 'minning.

I was not active most of his trial so basically the only experience I've had with him is when he berated Arm in IRC about his note being overturned and seeing him make himself a penguin with wizard spells a few times.

Most people seem to love him though so I'll defer to the two headmins who have actually been around for the majority of his time as admin.

other than that, an absolute joy to be around when admining. Although I am a bit bias since I prefer his fun admining style, whenever I have talked with him in serious instances: he is professional. Still, runs great events and is probably one of the comfyest admins.

also duncdar has only gotten headmin praise, alphonzo is the opposite in that sense and it's hard for us to decide

I would like him to get over his beesting grudge even if it's ironic it seems kind of petty
I know I'm not the one to be preaching about professionalism but adminning and playing are very separate activities and trying to carry over grudges from in-game to adminning will make you both miserable

Apart from the singular incident of Jarek's note in which many admins were torn on, is there anything else that's actually of concern?

I don't see why alphonzo shouldn't be an admin, They're friendly and they respond to ahelps at a reasonable speed. That note thing was one bump in the road but personally I'd just call it a learning experience and leave it at that.
