Trialmin Review: Omega_DarkPotato

Post by tattle » #621742

Omega_DarkPotato has now been in the .txt as a Trial Admin for roughly two months.

Please use this thread as public review; it's encouraged for players to comment on how well/badly the trial admin has done and whether or not they think the trial admin should be made a full admin, if they should be removed from the .txt or if their promotion should be delayed.

Has shown good initiative and is frequently active in admin discussions. My only quip is that I wish they'd engage in peanut culture a lot less, but that doesn't get in the way of them being a solid admin.

I think their community involvement is a great thing, especially considering they appear to make an active effort to make mature and thoughtful posts. They seem thoughtful and passionate, their adminning isn't 100 yet but I think with those two qualities they are well on their way. That being said I think they do have a bit of a tendency to take certain things too seriously at times, particularly concerning rule 8 stuff, and could benefit from checking themself whenever dealing with such matters. Hearts definitely in the right place, and feeling strongly isn't a bad thing, it's just important to keep a level head wherever possible when adminning. I don't think that's a reason to delay or deadmin though, just something to work on as a game admin. Promote!

Don't agree with them on everything, but they're very respectful of other opinions and their heart is absolutely in the right place. Easy promote.

Some things they have said have given me concern, but other than that they seem to be active and enjoy being an admin, they are not afraid to engage in conversations and bring their opinions to the table, they mesh well with the team and I don't see any particular player outrage about them, I haven't really seen their ticket/admin interactions with players 1 to 1 but more their interaction with the community as a whole in things like discord and I think they do just fine. My gut says promote

From what I've seen they're a very active admin, and very involved in the community. They may be a polcon poster but still have good reasoning and fair judgement. They are a good addition to the team and I'd love to see them around. Promote.

Omega is courteous in their in-game interactions with players, and accepts feedback well. They've been steadily improving as an admin, and while they still have things to work on we don't see reason to delay. Promote!
