TRIALMIN REVIEW: RescueRanger

RescueRanger has now been in the .txt as a Trial Admin for a month now.

Please use this thread as public review; it's encouraged for players to comment on how well/badly the trial admin has done and whether or not they think the trial admin should be made a full admin, if they should be removed from the .txt or if their promotion should be delayed.

Literally have never interacted with them because i don't play on Sybil much, but read about a time when they banned a guy for handing out the armory. Not because someone got hurt or killed, but just because the guy handed out the armory and RR thought that was the wrong way to play so bannu. It also seemed like the ban was lifted very grudgingly, and they flat out said they didn't regret it. I mention this because i think it sets a fucking awful precedent where admins try to control the way people play beyond enforcing the rules and preventing grief. Food for thought.

Usually I don't even bother with these threads but I have to vote no for ranger based on a few of his previous bans.

I'll edit this later when I remember the two things that really stood out for me.

The first reason is what Wyzack already said how Ranger banned a captain for handing out the armoury and only unbanned him because he was forced to and still thought it was bad.

Second reason was when he got so worked up about me saying people shouldn't replace the escape shuttle tiles with plasma tiles.

I believe compared to all the other trial admins we currently have he is at the bottom and would only be detrimental to the server if promoted to game admin.
