(i couldn't find a good picture of the newer ones)

ratings were useful for telling other people what you thought of them without having to take the time to think of words

with discord threatening to make the forums entirely irrelevant i think adding this feature that it and github already have will help refresh this tired format and bring it into the year >2011+13

We'd have to do some work to get this functional here. The only PHPBB extension for reactions has been abandoned since 2016 and was never finished.

I'm not sure it's super abandoned atleast, cause look, the OP's last edit is in January of this year, and the author said something about versions in the latest post in the thread on page 33 from January as well

anyway though, I guess if we need to adapt a bit to modern times to keep the forums alive, that's better than totally disappearing
