Wiki Improvement Drive

As people keep complaining that the wiki is out of date but few people do anything about it, and given that there are a large number of code changes but not many people actively working on the wiki, I am wondering if some kind of official wiki improvement drive (a week or so?) could be organized. Would require an official announcement, pushes in OOC, etc.

Maybe. To be honest I think you'll get better results by suggesting specific problems the wiki has and ways of fixing them rather than just going "you lot, improve the whole thing". Targeted stuff will just work better as far as I can tell.

Guide to botany and cooking needs to be redone. I would do it except I don't know about a lot of the changes. how do you get oats or blue cherries, and some recipes like brioche are not on the cooking page. If weedscopes and phil would share the details I could probably work on the pages

Problem is, there aren't all that many huge, gaping omissions in the wiki; most of the new antags, for instance, have guides already (which is of course great in its own way), and any larger-scale improvements would have to come from ideas people come up with. It's more the colossal amount of outdated, poorly written, wrong or incomplete information that there's really no way of tracking, and the amount of pages that are basically fine but lacking information people really should know. I've tried to change this as I find it, but I'm only one person, I have a life (despite pissing it away on spessmens, but that is another story), and there's a lot about the game I don't consider myself an expert on.

What I was thinking was something kind of like what coderbus has going now, maybe even with prizes for the most (non-shit) contributions.

Is there no space vines page? It's random mutation, and you get the kudzu itself from hydro tray fucking

I believe kudzu is currently covered under Random Events:

However it is out of date.

I know how to get it, however the various mutations of kudzu are only mentioned barely, and after an update to kudzu a while back, it has a lot of important notes that aren't on the wiki at all.

I want to know all about kudzu. Hell, give it it's own page! KUDZU! KUDZUUU!
