Thank you,

I believe it was recently that shaps stepped down from the admintrainer position, as we haven't had a very big influx of candidates-aside from those on basil that were trained by longbow and others.

Except I've been trying to reach out to headmins for the last week or so,only to get the same excuse, sometimes even ignored.

Generally it is more of a selection process than recruitment from what I have seen.

That's hardly true at all lol.

In fact that is more of the exception than the norm.

Majority of the time it's always been you shoot a headmin a message and they'll go "yeah aight this person is cool I guess." Whilst I'm not denying that some admins do select candidates as far as I remember it's always been mostly people going let me try. I remember Intigracy even had an application that you had to write down and send to him.

Thus, if the headmins give you excuses, they're just telling you nicely that they don't want you.

Okand is correct that this is how it has been on basil recently, longbow has been poaching good players to make admins to deal with the hubby shitters

Speaking from experience, it's a mixture of both. I had a shortlist of people I wanted to trial (but never got around to due to other people candidating people), and a few people I didn't have in mind who expressed interest that I had a favorable opinion of. It's a combination of being in the right place in the right time and having the right relationships with the right people

Also carrot, you've only been around for like two months, wait a year or so and then we can look at it

I am clearly the most capable of the people who should be admin but don't want to be assed to ever try

That is all

Before, we had a lack of administrators, and could use new ones. Now we have like 50, and they are all on at the same time. We aren't recruiting anymore. It's a selection thing now.
