can we get a final say on whether maintainers need to follow their rules?

currently, the "rules" are a big joke and i've never seen anything enforced.

if maintainers dont need to follow the rules then what's the point of having them? If the rules are just a big joke then remove them.

Technically speaking there are no "formal" written rules for maintainers. We pretty much only follow min 24h to merge.

non shitpost: I dunno, I do sometimes see some kinda egregious maintainer stuff every once in a while, maybe there should be some proper rules? not trying to bash anyone, we're all human etc., but sometimes it can be a little ridiculous

The only person that can do anything about maintainer rules is Cheridan, so talk with him about it(I don't mean this in a "stop annoying us!" way, but more directing your feedback to someone that can actually do something with it).
