Hello and welcome to another thread made by me, this time it's about hacktoberfest!

Now that we're into October it's a great opportunity for people to contribute four different PRs to the repo and recieve a free t-shirt and stickers.

Make four prs between October 1st and October 31 anywhere in the world, and have them approved by a maintainer or merged. Unfortunately closed PRs are no longer counted towards the goal, but it's not too hard to get a PR merged on our repo!

the actual reward isn't really the purpose, it's just providing any amount of motivation for people to code

it's a cool shirt

the rules have been updated by digitalocean/github to help prevent PR spam:
- PRs only count on repos that opt-in to the event (ours has been opted in)
- PRs only count if they are merged or have been approved by a maintainer

any contributions prior to this change are constrained by the old rules, but anything moving forward is only counted under the conditions listed above.
