gathering feedback

Post by Miauw » #64426

hey i think it'd be a good idea if the feedback forum was give a "Pull Requests Feedback" subforum where a mandatory thread is created for every feature PR.

I would support this, might get tedious for people doing feature PR's but I say that if you've gone to all the effort to code/sprite/map a feature, then you should be able to take a minute to make a thread on it.

Can't we get a bot to make the threads?

Yeah just have it pull the title from the PR, and the description from the PR body.

For that to work than either the creator would have to designate their PR with a "feature" tag, or the maintainers will have to be very attentive to make sure to tag all PR's.

A bot would probably work, too. If somebody can be arsed to code it.

Just FYI, I don't intend any of these threads to be polls.

But polls are truth.

Also, this should be done, even if it has to be done manually at first, the subforum should exist.

What gathering? You're gathering.

I agree as long as we can call the bot Beepsky.
