Byond account and character name: yakumochen, Blazing S.T.A.R [AI]
"Admin": optimumtact
Time and Server(Bagil or Sybil) incident occurred: ~1-2 AM EST, May 27th, Bagil
Detailed summary:I was playing the AI, it was a pretty chaotic round. For most of the round (the part that was relevant) I was standard asimov AI.
During the round I witnessed a lot of harm and set people to arrest, as I was wont to do. In particular, however, security was being extremely bad. I watched the HoS shoot lasers at people, which I also reported harm for, and he had also at one point set every single assistant on the station to arrest for 'wearing grey', however I had not been watching him very closely as there was a lot going on (like the supermatter exploding, reports of traitors, reports of a mime with carp who had stolen the HoS gun I was trying to locate, etc). In particular was the dance machine Oranges had spawned, which was a big distraction for everyone.
At some point, I had put my view over the dance machine area just in time to witness a fight between a cargonian (I cannot remember the name) and the HoS. The fight was going badly for the HoS, however, and he got stunlocked and beat to death. This was the first murder I had personally witnessed for the round. I asked for security to help (they never came) as I interfered with the murderer attempting to space the HoS. I wasn't sure if he was totally dead but as the AI I tend to assume spacing corpses is bad in any case. I continued to stall for time for security to help but they did not, and eventually the cargonian managed to maint with the body.
Seeing as it was a murder, of security, no less, I thought it would be prudent to have him arrested at all costs. Eventually I managed to have my sole cyborg lock him down and have Armsky detain him. The borg cuffed and (after some theft of the murderer and yakkety sax) finally dragged him to perma where he could not harm anyone else, hopefully.
At this point, Oranges ahelped me asking why I had perma'd him. I explained that it was a Law 1 hazard and he had murdered the HoS. Oranges then suggested that I shouldn't have done that, as the HoS "deserved it" and then told me that the HoS had been shooting people with a combat shotgun near 'his' dance machine. I told him I had not witnessed that, so I couldn't act on it. I was the AI anyway, so whether murder is "deserved" or not has absolutely nothing to do with how I should act as an AI. At this point Oranges then threatened to gib me.
A little annoyed, I told Oranges he couldn't simply gib me for following AI laws, to which he responded "Or can I?". My response was to tell him to bring a real admin in and rule on it, as I know Oranges isn't actually an admin.
My complaint is Oranges should not have ahelp or be able to harass me in game for doing things he doesn't like, even if it's perfectly fair and within acceptable behavior for the role I was playing at the time (AI). As far as I'm aware, he isn't even an admin and should not be abusing admin tools to admonish me or act like an admin in the first place.
