Let me preface this complaint by stating that I understand that OOC is a rather minor and inconsequential part of them game, with admins more or less having free reign over how OOC is run. If there is a line between acceptable and unacceptable OOC admin behavior, it would be a far away, distant line that is rather blurry and difficult to make out if anyone even bothered to look at it. And yet, that line was probably crossed in this case.

Admin: Sawucalls
Time incident occurred: Sybil, June 12, 20:11 server time

After the previous round ended, players were subjected to a ton of screen fuckery consisting of lots and lots of spinning and colors. Seizure-inducing levels. There are some people who are salty about it, and Sawu reminds laughingrabbit/everyone that if they don't stay in line they "might get a mute". Okay.
The AI-bolting-door-case gets brought up. Sawu clearly doesn't like the topic being brought up and where it's going, so he decides to silence all discussion by threatening to mute anyone who would try to continue it. In any way, shape, or form, which he emphasizes, by specifically mentioning "ironic asking", whatever that is.
OOC is a mess now so I decide to meme it up with some fampais. Somehow Sawu also finds this offensive and threatens me with a dayban, and also tells me

anything you say from beyond this point ohnopidgeons that is remotely shitposty will incur a punishment.

Yikes.
Bob gives Sawu some sass and his attention turns on him too.

To reiterate, Sawucalls manages to threaten administrative/disciplinary action to 4 different people for 4 completely different reasons (each of which amounted to nothing) in the span of 10 minutes, beginning at round-start. Judging from the looks of other people in OOC, not out of the purpose to make sure everyone is having an enjoyable time but purely out of personal vindications. All in all a pretty bad attitude to have in general.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is really not proper admin behavior, nor a very good way to administrate in any form.

Oh hey, he's referring to me there! Glad to see that instead of admitting he fucked up there he's trying to blatantly lie about it. I fired once at the CE with my detective revolver (because he was fleeing and I don't have a taser) who was actively trying to murder and space someone. I hit him with one round and from there it was just me and an assistant stunning him with batons while I cuffed him. I brought to the brig where he threw a tantrum and ghosted instead of, I dunno, trying to talk his way out. If I was really planning on shooting him to death, why wouldn't I have, you know, shot him to death instead of nonlethally detained him and brought him to the brig?

Judging by that situation, his blatant lie about the events of said situation, and his weird power tripping here I'm kind of questioning whether or not he's fit to be an admin.

I've had multiple interactions with sawu, none of them positive. Every time something gets even slightly close to the borders of his comfort zone, he disables the ooc and/or starts handing out mutes.

I'm just going to point at that 20 minutes before hand, a multitude of people had been warned for shitting up IC with their edgy jokes about the recent nightclub shooting, you included, and you were not the only one muted.

Racism, Bigotry and assorted shitposting from a variety of people, and multiple people were issued mutes as a result. OOC is not the place to spread intolerant, hateful bullshit.

Additionally, Cherry picking parts of the log where I actually told the guy where to go for complains and arranging it in a way to make me appear more hostile is just petty.

I'm glad that instead of taking a step back, reflecting on your behavior, wondering if there's any merit to the criticism, and striving to improve yourself for the future, you instead choose to bring up a basically irrelevant OOC conversation in an attempt to discredit both me and the complaint. This is obviously the kind of admin behavior and attitude I like seeing from the admins.

Notice how I specifically didn't mention the Orlando shooting mutes? That's because they were and are neither relevant to the nor necessary to this complaint. But since you've brought it up and insist that they are, we might as well go down that road. Yes, you muted me from OOC during that conversation.

This is complete bullshit. Each and every WORD of this sentence is a complete bold-faced lie, and I'm rather disappointed. These logs aren't cherry picked, they're literally the entire OOC log starting from after the round ended to the conversation's end, and you should know that seeing as you also dived into the logs. This is pure baseless slander. I bolded you when you were speaking and highlighted the parts where you specifically threatened administrative action, which was the entire point of this complaint. And somehow, this counts as arranging the log to make you appear more hostile?

We certainly used to have a server rule the asked people to tone down blatant racism. But thats dispersed over time.

In honesty, does it really make you feel so "oppressed" when an admin mutes you/OOC for saying offensive things? Are you really that angry that your unable to spout your personal views of something irrelevant in a minor video game? If you really want people to "listen" to your freedom speech, why not go on /r9k/ or /pol/ or heck just grab a megaphone and join the others on the streets.

This complaint is not about racism; this complaint is not about freedom of speech. I have expressed no personal views. Even then, the Orlando shooting conversation is a complete separate incident and is unrelated to the round-end/lobby-start conversation the actual admin complaint is about. The ONLY links that conversation has to this one are:

That conversation took 40 minutes beforehand
Sawucall moderated that conversation
I was muted momentarily in that conversation

Unless someone can actually explain how that conversation is relevant to this specific complaint, if possible I would like that topic addressed in another admin complaint thread and not this one. I would rather not get this complaint sidetracked by politics inherent over such a controversial subject.

Saying that we should start purging and attacking muslims in the US is spreading hateful bullshit, legitimate critique and discussion about how islam does not mesh with western culture using case points such as the night club shooting (even in a sarcastic manner) is an entirely different matter.

The main thing I wanted to point out was the bit about his overturned AI ban. Don't get me wrong, I ain't salty over it. I haven't logged in today but I'm pretty sure I ain't banned so no sweat. At the same time though, both a headman and the server host pointed out that he straight up fucked up with the ban. Instead of admitting he fucked up though he instead tries to lie about it and depict himself as the victim. Call me crazy but I don't think someone's fit to be an admin if they can't even be bothered to listen to a headmin who actually knows the rules and instead tries to make up his own rules on the spot.

Please don't mute/threaten bans in situations like this, people are allowed to express their grievances with admins.

If this becomes reoccurring behavior action will be taken (you can't be an admin if you can't handle criticism), otherwise this is a warning and the thread is resolved.

If anyone sees more stuff like this (from any admin) feel free to PM me about it and avoid the circus.
