Detailed summary:
So, complaint up against Joan due to her admin abuse. To gather more info, I take to the servers and ask players to let the forum thread know if they have any other rounds where they feel Joan might of abused with powers to self-antag or shit like that.

I make some election jokes because le player headmin involved in the scandal, MrAlph does his Numbers impression and mutes the OOC for a bit to ramble about threatening OOC bans, we all joke about the 2020 pres election to meme it up, then I go back to the original plan and get serious so we can get some reports of bad behavior from the offending admin.


IcePacks then kicks me. Come on. There was no good reason for this kick. He's got a serious problem with just kicking people for shitty reasons, and don't forget where he threatened to ban a player for filing a complaint about his kicking.

Is there not a rule against threatening to ban people for complaining? I think a headmin needs to talk to Pax about this, this is unacceptable and outright corrupt.

No he's making the point that they're upset about being punished [lightly] for breaking the rules, not that they're actually going to do it .

You're overstepping your boundaries. This isn't your battle to fight, this isn't something you're in charge of handling, and you trying to insert yourself into it is frustrating and in no way helpful. A kick is basically the lightest possible punishment an admin can give.

I'm sorry, but when a group of admins including the headmin is found to be abusing their powers, why the fuck would I trust the admins to report on themselves INCLUDING THEIR BOSS? This is sure as hell my battle to fight as a community member, as I don't trust you to moderate yourself.

Your point is invalidated because you're implying that players shouldn't be reporting admin abuse.

Maybe we should look you up for potential abuse too? Because there's only one reason an admin would want to stop people from discovering abuse.

There's already enough evidence to indict the person in question. They were stripped of their rank and there's further discussion/investigation underway. Trying to rile up the lynch mob when otherwise you rarely even log into the server is, at this point, purely destructive and it's not worth dealing with it on top of the actual situation at hand.

There is never enough evidence, criminal law 101 man. Especially when analysis of the existing evidence turned up with ties to 3 other admins who are all now implicated, with more questions.

I never remotely implied he was unable to defend himself. Explaining what he meant by their post so you don't try to gas light it [which you still do] does not mean i'm trying to asspull excuses or read into his posts. If he wants to better articulate what he said then by all means go ahead. The only one who needs handholding here is you, particularly to the metaphorical door.

He is not in the wrong for kicking Jzoid, he is not in the wrong for asking them do they want their just punishment [which is worse than a kick] because that's what they seem to be upset about.

Kicking a user is pretty tame, I don't understand why anyone gets their fluff up about having to reconnect to the server. I think this was unwarranted, but I also think Goof has literally zero business being involved in trying to investigate the issue with Joan.

That's an unfair characterisation

I commented in a recent pr highlighting that Pax uses kicks more than other admins, given that I had also experienced a random kick out of the blue for the crime of saying

That is a totally legitimate post under the Anon3 amendment, and it in no way constitutes a hate boner for pax, who as far as I can tell is an alright admin despite his propensity for randomly kicking people he doesnt' like.
