Byond account and character name: D4C - Roland McBurger
Admin: Optimumtact
Time and server: Around 1220BST, Sybil
Round ID: 91869
Detailed summary: I was having a bad time getting greytided by Booze Dindlewood and Connor Hawkes, who had escalated straight from me slipping them and honking them a couple of times to them putting me in crit, healing me while I was still restrained and doing it again, and blinding me with a screwdriver. I ahelped this while there were no admins online, so it went to the IRC. A little while later optimumtact joined, and then when Booze and Connor were busy trying to lock me in one of the dorms all three of us started to get violently thrown around the room and into each other. Even at one point while trying to leave the room I was thrown back into it repeatedly, and hit multiple times with a brute trauma kit. A little before about 1250 my adminhelp was marked as resolved by an admin, despite me never getting a word back regarding it.

I saw your ahelp in the discord, jumped on sybil and gave you an aheal, since you had been blinded by the guy who owned you.

You then ran straight back towards the dorms where he was and started fighting with him and another guy again, so I tossed the three of you around a bit, before seperating you out and stopping you killing that guy after you knocked him down and started screwdrivering him.

Originally I was gonna talk to the guy about over escalating but the fact you went straight back after him after I gave you an aheal to give your eyes back made me change my mind and I didn't want to bother with excessive admin rulings over a single in game incident of a poor escalation on the clown over a slip.

He asked me about it as well, although at first he thought I was you since I tossed you two into each other a bunch.

I should have followed up with you on the AHELP and explained but I got distracted by his AHELP and so I marked yours resolved later, assuming you had gotten the message, given the repeated aheals and then seperation and that you said nothing after

Okay, I wasn't aware of the initial aheal as I assumed that the CMO had injected me with oculine along with the rest of the healing meds and my eyes had healed that way. That's why I continued to go after the guy, because I thought nothing had been done about the escalation. I'd stopped paying attention to my own health after a point because to be honest I was getting a bit salty about this, especially when things started getting flung around the room and I still hadn't had a word from any admin, it felt like the only response I'd seen regarding this was to just trying to get us both to give up by attrition.

It's my fault, I should have pinged you originally when I jumped on an ahealed you, but I was looking at the say/attack logs of the guy who blinded you and then by the time I had stopped you two were fighting again.

His behaviour wasn't stellar though, it looks like he had been killing the station pets and looking for fights.

However in this case at most it would have mostly likely ended up with just a note on their record as they have no previous history of poor escalation and they didn't kill you (i.e it was fixable IC)

I apologise for not communicating clearly with you about what was going on, that's my bad.

Yeah, no worries. I didn't expect him to get banned or anything, I mostly wanted an admin to come and slap him on the wrist to get him to fuck off. I'm sure you can appreciate how it looked from my end though, hence the continuing to get into a fight and starting this thread after. Apology accepted, amico.

Sounds like this is resolved to me.
