Byond account and character name OR Discord name: LewdKawaiiCatgirl - I used a random name, was janitor.

Brief summary: I am going to keep it very short. I was bwoinked by this person, he asked me multiple questions to which I replied. The admin completely ignored what I wrote to him, refused to have a civil conversation, didn't bother to check the logs and banned me without allowing me to explain the situation, mid-round without any explanation why I deserve the ban. I tried to contact him through byond client but he blocked me.
More detailed summary:
He completely ignored what I told him and kept pushing his own self-shaped reality. Screenshoot nr.1 I am telling him that I didn't attack first, Screenshoot nr.2 he says I attacked first, completely negating my previous statements. (He could have checked the logs? Simple as that.) Screenshoot nr.3 I am telling him the security attacked me first, screenshoot nr.4 he bans me for "STARTING a fight with security". The screenshoots are in chronological order. As soon as I got banned I recorded last 5 minutes via shadowplay, this is the earliest of our conversation that I have proof of.

My own opinnion:
I felt very opressed by this admin and had sense of talking to a wall. The man completely ignored what I told him, either by his weak reading comprehension skills or just plain out assholery. I do understand the fact that I was pretty drunk during this time but my sentences weren't hard to decipher, he could have always asked for clarification. The thing that hit me the hardest is his failure of trying to help players, he didn't bother to check the logs, he didn't bother to write my ban message well (2-5 days, I have to guess how long I am banned for), he constantly ignored me and I had the feeling of being straight up "censored" because he banned me out of the blue without any chances of explanation then blocked me on byond client. I do not think that a man that doesn't bother to spend a few minutes to help players should be an admin. This is all, thanks.

I did check logs, which is how I saw you killed the mime as well as the janitor

I should have put that the ban was extended from 2 to 5 days instead of using a dash to indicate it, I will admit

I did most of my digging and investigation before speaking to you, and speaking to you was enough to confirm my suspicions that your behavior was bannable

Shaps did a full investigation into this event, as is their duty as an administrator. Nowhere did they abuse their powers, nor did they give you a raw deal by acting in bad faith. Shaps has admitted they should have been more clear in the extension of the ban timer, but outside of that there is nothing actionable here.

If anything, this reads like yet another ban appeal complaint. The discussion seems to be more around if the ban itself was valid, not if shaps' behavior was justified.
