I'm a roboticist and i've aquired a gygax mech i move to emergency shuttle but before entering it the ERT sec officer shoots an ion gun at me for no reason harming my mech i think whatever okay and move on and can't get into the shuttle, i can't get in and i was worried about ship leaving so i break the door to it to enter (the room was totally empty) i walk in and see ERT in the bridge and i point spam the door a couple of times to which i think the commander? opens it for me, i hop on in as a mech thinking sure whatever i'll hang with these guys and the sec officer who was also the one that ion gunned me for literally no reason unloads a laser set to kill on me and i call him some childish names as most players on this game do and vekter who was the medical ert officer tells him to shoot me again which the sec officer agrees to by firing at me again with his laser, now i fire back as he is killing me for what i assumed was zero reason as no one had mentioned any illegal IC decisions being made to which he plants a c4 charge on my mech and blows me up killing me, then reviving me afterwards right before round ended leaving me without arms.

I Ahelp it and get an incorrect summary from Sylphet about how i decided to break into sec and the bridge illegally and he was shooting me with an ion gun to which i replied with breaking into the bridge to then be shot with the ion gun to death then revived end of.

This is untrue as i never broke into the bridge i was let in and i was obviously shot with more than an ion gun and blown up on the bridge... i agree now that IC i broke into security but no one was in there at the time and the rest of the ERTS including the commander were aware of my presence and once i had ahelped it Sylphet gave me the response which i'll add to this post and ended the ticket preventing some clarification,i sent another ahelp in trying to clarify that i wasn't breaking into the bridge and i wasn't just shot with a harmless ion gun and they refused my ahelps from then onward, i believe this was an unfair decision to make when i was just trying to sort the situation out. sorry if some things are incorrect I've literally just made an account to post my complaint.

By your own admission, you smashed open the door to the shuttle. Logs back this up.

This happened because your gygax smashed down the door. Here you broke the law IC.

This isn't true, you can't point at things from inside a mech. Maybe someone opened the door for you, but it doesn't change the fact that you were a roboticist on the bridge of the shuttle in a gamer mech.

This is also not true, your order of events is wrong. The sec officer ion gunned you when you were trespassing on the bridge. It's a pretty long standing precedent here that if you break into somewhere, the people who work there are allowed to throw you out. In the case of certain areas like the bridge or captain's office, this extends to lethal force. Shuttle bridge is still a bridge, and just because people haven't valided you for it before doesn't mean that they're not allowed to. Anyway - after your mech started getting ioned, you chose to attack the sec officer with your mech arm, dislocating a joint, while trespassing and in a mech.

You cannot kill security for doing their jobs. Vekter makes a comment about the things that you said. The sec officer then used a C4 charge to destroy your mech. This is probably the only weapon that they had capable of killing a gygax quickly and reliably, but I would have bwoinked them to make sure if they were connected.

The sec officer never « unloaded a laser set to kill » on you. In fact, you shot them with your mech's heavy laser cannon. (I'm aware that the who isn't logged - gygax is the only likely thing to fire a heavy laser, though. If this is wrong I'd be happy to be corrected.) At this point you had escalated to lethals while trespassing. You are then killed. Even after what you did, you are taken to be revived, and are revived before the end of the shift.

You committed crimes IC, got dunked, and you spent all of two minutes dead for it. The reason that I closed your tickets is because there was nothing left to sort out. I spoke to the involved parties, read the logs, and even now, you admit to having done something wrong IC. So - IC issue. I really tried to explain my reasoning to you in the ticket, and I've broken it down even further here. No one was wrongly banned, or noted - nothing happened here, to anyone. It's all IC. So, what exactly is it that you want done here ? Do you feel that this is actually not an IC issue, even after everything that I've pointed out ?

Is that the earlierst log of my confrontation with the ERTS? I didn't start the fight and he ion gunned me before even touching the shuttle or bridge, maybe the officer missed on the bridge fight because he apologised in OOC for panic shooting me so im not sure how this lines up..

I did actually check this - the AI was subverted or malf or something, and this was a full minute before. Was there a borg in the area that you saw ? It's not impossible that you were caught in the AOE of the ion. If this was a direct hit, it doesn't change much - but it is something that I should have caught.

I see, okay then i suppose a series of events happened leading to some IC law breaking, also i posted it on in the hopes of getting some more information on the situation i suppose as you started to reject my ahelps, thanks for clarification.

That's alright - I probably should have heard you out a little more. We had a lot of tickets and I felt like I'd already been very clear, but that doesn't really excuse it and I'm going to try and be better about this. If this complaint is withdrawn, I have nothing to add and headmins can close this whenever.
