Employment is a good thing, or is it? The meaningful choices we make with our job selection in turn affect the running of the station, and a critical imbalance or loss of productivity will substantially, so why should we turn it over to assistants with no qualification. This practice of running two jobs often parallel to each other is called moonlighting,

To give a practical example, I work signifcantly less hard in a west-side of town barista coffee shop by day for minimum wage, but at night in sporadic bursts i edit these videos and earn significantly more money from advertising revenue. So why would i do it besides to pay my felony bails for driving a ford mondeo down the sidewalk at 70mph towards pedestrians.

Its pretty simple actually, money, but the problem with money is there is a finite amount. So in order to make money i have to take a larger chunk of your money in ideally the least intensive way possible. Mathmatically the net revenue lost per paycheck cycle on account of extra unnessecary staff destablises the game economy especially for station departments leaving them without financial stability to buy supplies in a time of crisis.
