Tourist Station 13

Post by robzored » #412229

A message arrives at the station: a reviewer for hotels and resorts is coming to write an article about the station. A positive review could mean visitors and big money for the station, a negative review though...

Give the station ample warning that a reviewer is going to arrive and write an article about the station. They will be looking to try the food, drink, sleeping facilities, as well as any recreational activities the station can provide. Needless to say, they must also remain safe during their visit, and the station should be (reasonably) neat and tidy as well.

Once they've experienced the station, they can return to central and give their report. A favorable review leads to tourists arriving to visit the station, with an objective to kick back and relax. In return, the station could receive additional credits, rare items, or something else. A poor review could lead to less desirable visits to the station, whether it be kleptomaniacs, packs of wild dogs, or even a formal review from CentCom.

I feel there needs to be more events that give the service-crew something to work towards. The clown and the mime can create entertainment, the lawyer can write up limited liability release forms for visitors, botanists can beautify the station, the Maltese Falcon keeps people full and happy, ect ect.
