I think responding to "XENOS" on the common channel with vent welding is completely fine

In this case the whole cliche of "not knowing what you're up against" is scrapped, so you will know you're going up against xenomorphs (the name of the ayys are subject to change I think) along with what they do

Chad marine mains know that you wrench vents and pipes to block xenos, while they can get in they cant use it as an escape.

It requires only one small tool and you don't need goggles or a fuel supply.

There is no first-contact rule and the exception is listed under the rules now.
