Why you think you should be unbanned: First I wasn't ban baiting. The round started with me getting some soap and slipping people as an assistant, did this to a few people until I either accidentally punched the Lawyer or Chaplin as they both start beating me to a pulp in front of med-bay. I get healed as the Chaplin follows me into the tool room. I'm screaming to sec to help as the Chaplin is attempting to murder me, but to no avail. His sword made my character jump to random temporary blindness at the sight of it. So I had no way to defend myself well, I grabbed a welding tool and basically welder bomb. The Chaplin dies and I take him to medical to get revived. I actively tried to save his life with defibs and such. I wait for him to get cloned to ask why he's trying to kill me.(I'm not sure where the idea of me trying to take his stuff came from but I told the geneticist to put the sword in a locker so my character can stand still). Chaplin is cloned gets his stuff and starts cutting me up, my arm and all. He's activity attempting to kill me as the other crew watches we get him down and put him on cryo to heal. I zip tie him so i can take him to sec when hes out. Halfway there I lose grip, he escapes, sees me again and tries to kill me and turned me into a shade. I never attempted to kill him and when I did I revived him. I never received an reply from the ahelp so I assumed the Chaplin was a traitor, and logged off as I had to go to a family gathering.

You were slipping people and trying to steal their stuff, not only that you did initiate a fight accidental or not, which escalated.
Then you blew him up, cuffed him. You punched people and kept slipping people, they attacked you back, you attack them by blowing up tool storage, the chaplain then attacks you back after getting cloned.

You start fighting, then ahelp when the tides turn. That's banbaiting and I've seen you do it before. You start a fight, lose it and come to the admins. Not only that, you've had a bunch of notes about general bad behavior as well, which weighted in my decision to give you a day time out.

I am gonna consider this appeal denied and you're welcome to come back tomorrow since this was a day ban.

I wasn't trying to steal anyones stuff the most I did was pick up the chaplins book and threw it at him after he was beating me up in medbay. I didn't slip anyone after I cloned the Chaplin as the sec officer watching took my soap. I sliped two people before that which was the lawyer and chaplin. I'm not sure why you thought I was trying to steal their stuff? I blew up tool storage because that was my only option as sec wasn't coming and the posibility of having my body hidden by a possible traitor chaplin. You didn't try to contact me up to around 5 or 10 mins after i did the ahelp, so I left. I didn't want the chaplin to stay dead so thats why I cloned him and he walts out cutting my arms off and later my legs, then killing me. The medbay personel say and attempting to restrain him also.

Yeah you left before I could ask further questions but I pieced the story together from the logs and the chaplain.
The issue isn't you and chaplain fighting, but ahelping after you start a fight and it escalates and eventually you get murdered after you murder the chaplain.

I didn't try to start fights, I was slipping because I was an assistant and I had to go soon. Slipping is a inconvinice but not a fight starter. I ahelped because I wasn't trying to escalate the fight when it started, but the chaplin kept trying to kill me. I left because you never responeded and I had to go eat with the family (It's sunday, Im not going to wait 30 minutes for a reply to ahelp to explain my side). I never attempted to appeal my previous temp bans as I saw what I was doing as stupid or against the rules. I'm appealing this one because you have the wrong story, and it adds to my notes. I'm never trying to ban bait (Though I still don't exactly know what it means, Trying to get myself banned? or others?)

Slipping people for no reason is definitely a fight starter especially if you """"accidentally"""" punch people.

Once you start a fight, and you murder someone, you open yourself open to the same.

If a player wrongs you(theft, insults, shoving, etc), you may retaliate. If you choose to retaliate with violence, you in turn have opened yourself up to violence. If you choose this route, do not expect admins to help you out if you die, even if you were not the original instigator. If you are concerned about being "kill baited" then consider calling security, using non lethal means to subdue your opponent, fleeing, or otherwise working things out (talking them down, getting your stolen items replaced, etc)

You're not banned for the fight, it's for ahelping about the fight you started and escalated. After you lost.

I wasn't trying to escalate the fight, I ahelped because the chaplin was escalating it by trying to kill me. The fight started because i punched him instead of using grab to slip him. I apolpgised afterwards and he responds with the intnet to kill. I wasn't ban or kill baiting since I killed him first (accidently). I apologised the first time and asked him why he was tryimg to kill me after I revied him. I have to go to work now so I won't be able to respond for awhile. Also side thought shouldn't other admins read over other admins appeals, wouldn't that be a pretty bias viewpoint with your decision as you'd be more likely see your choice as the only right one.

I'm back, thanks Arianya for posting the log. It proves everything i've said is true, im still not sure why daxyeen thinks i was ban baiting him when I killed him first, or where she got the conclusion I was trying to steal his stuff when it was the geneticist who stripped him and not me. The logs shows my accidental harm and my disarms at medbay and me trying to revive him and the stuff after. Also if this appeal goes through don't temp ban gavakis, he may have went abit to far in his hate towards my character but I went abit far too.

I mean we both went to far, and that's more on me just apologizing when in reality gavakis may have done more, when in retrospect he kept at it when I told him to stop and I told him I did it on accident. It went Slip + 1 punch = criting and later murder. I want to emphasize that I don't want gavakis banned, that's just really dickish to attempt to get other people banned. Also if the appeal doesn't go through, can you at least remove the part about ban baiting from the notes. I didn't even know what that was till today. It's like getting pulled over for a misdemeanor and the officer seeing "Previous Sex Offender", the officer(admin) is going to most likely make a harsher punishment based on that false charge.

Edit: looking over the log again. The lawyer attacked me first, and I never harmed the chaplin myself before the beat down. The chaplin responded with the attempted slipping with his blade on harm, while also making my character retarded

The nature of ban baiting comes down to the fact that people are doing questionable stuff and get put into incidents where they are killed. Although I do not want to outright discourage ahelping in those questionable incidents, I can see how Dax would come to the belief that this situation was kinda cut and dry, being particularly related to the actions that lead you there. The moment that you welderbomb someone is really the moment that you lose your ability to ahelp, no matter what started the incident. Perhaps you should take it as a notice that you should consider your actions in the situation before you take OOC counteractions.
