The dude is creative as all heck and does pretty rad things with the admin tools that they have picked up extremely quickly. Professional with players and knows the rules super well.

Just had a pretty unpleasant conversation with Delaron during an Ahelp. I had ahelped over an unruly borg I had locked down, while I was in the right in the situation Delaron came across as very short and rude, after we clarified they were trying to give advice and not paint me as the issue here, I told them I found how they framed their advice disrespectful, they responded passive aggressively and we ended the convo there.

End of round cut the conversation short and I apologize for that. I however stand by my advice and take on the situation. I felt it was warranted to share my professional capacity take in an effort to improve the overall gameplay going forward. I often advocate not inferring tone or additional context in ahelps, as it not a good medium for such (similar to most emails) There was no disrespect or passive aggressiveness on my end and any you inferred was not my intention. This was clearly stated during the ahelp so I also did not want to belabor the point and continue the conversation into the next round. I can not apologize in good faith for something you interpreted as it creates an environment of eggshell walking but I can relate to your frustration and make efforts in the future to be clearer to avoid coming off as disrespectful or passive aggressive. So in the end I thank you for providing me this accounting.

Seems like an ok dude, but give me a note without checking the logs and made it sound like I was griefing, which is completely untrue. Blamed me for something I didn't even do and framed the note as if I was a griefer, which is annoying. So I've appealed it.

EDIT: I was wrong in saying he didn't check the logs, my apologies.

My latest interaction with him was nothing but positive, so I take back the above and appreciate his help in resolving the above matter patiently, calmly and with good grace. Cheers!

I had a rather negative ticket with them on Manuel round #227775. As a Spy, I had originally ahelped about an engineer who was chasing me and shooting at me with a mosin in space, to me it came off as validhunt as I had zero previous interaction with this engineer and it seemed to me that the only reason they were shooting at me was that I was wearing a syndi modsuit. In the ticket, Delaron assured me that the engineer was an "opposed to NT minded person" which I took to mean another antag, upon checking the logs it would appear that the engineer was never an antag so I am unsure what they meant by that unless I missed something in the logs that they saw. I don't really care too much about the engineer validsalding me, he got his cheeks clapped by me for doing so, but I need to bring it up since Delaron brought it up in the next ticket I had with them, the one I most take issue with.

Half an hour later the shift had progressed quite a bit, a space dragon had just reached full power and the shuttle was on its way! I had gotten a clown bomb as a spy bounty and thought I should probably use it before the round was over. I was about 90% sure that planting the clown bomb in escape would constitute mass station sabotage as outlined in the rules, but just to be safe I decided to ahelp and ask.

The round ended as I sent that last message. I disagree with Delaron's assessment here, I think it should have counted as mass sabotage to plant a clown bomb in a mostly empty departures lounge 8 minutes before the shuttle docks. It takes two minutes whole minutes for the clown bomb to detonate and is very obvious while counting down giving anyone ample time to peace out from the lounge and take a pod, and even after the bomb detonates all someone has to do to avoid the hostile clowns is not go into the departure lounge or run away. I also really don't like the fact that Delaron tried to paint me as "tearing up the station" and "leaving a trail of bodies", I had only killed two people that round, one of which was the aforementioned engineer who I thought valided me and another was a mime who shot me with a shotgun.

I get Delaron has only been back for one day but I don't believe this is the best way to go about a ticket even if Delaron disagreed with me that clown bombing EVAC was not mass sabotage.

Regarding the engineer valid hunting. You were asking for information mid round. I answered vague as a result. The logs at the time didn't paint a pure validhunt but it was being observed.

Regarding the clown bomb on departures:
I mean agree to disagree . What would you like to see changed Bmon? I didn't tell you no, but advocated against it. You also are leaving out the context of you shooting up engineering and leaving others in crit/dead that got recovered. I disagreed with you about the reasoning for a clown bomb at departures. You asked I answered. I will be honest I initially thought the ahelp was a bit of a tongue in cheek admin to admin laugh. As you continued to fight for your justification I had to shift gears a bit. I maintained it wasn't great but also not disallowed. It may have been a nothing sandwich in which case /shrug no harm no foul. It also had the potential for mass casualty as the crew were escaping, to which you had an objective that was counter to that. I left the power of choice in your hands and you are complaining. I don't know how to help you with that.
