Bottom post of the previous page:

Climate treaties are a token anyway the only way America is going renewable is if the inolved industries can lobby harder than the fossil fuels lobbyists currently welded to the arse of 90% of us politicians. So probably never as lobbying gives greater financial benefits than expenditure like you know all corruption.

Both sides need to rebel the major parties being so bought out by the same people has meant NO VOTER has been getting what they want in America for decades.

Did I not call it for the shy tory effect like five pages ago?

The other part of it is that the dems are suffering from a lot of "if you don't back every cause 100% to the hilt then I don't want anything to do with you, blocked" among their supporters - and some of them will take supporting a leftist cause other than their own personal pet causes as a slight 'cause apparently people are incapable of having opinions on more than one thing at a time or something. Post something about AIDS charities? Fuck you for not supporting black civil rights apparently.
The Gravity Falls guy called it on twitter, the left can't tell the difference between an imperfect ally and an outright enemy.

Places like /pol/ on the other hand call each other faggots on a daily basis anyway regardless of political opinions. It's not that there's no infighting on the right, but whatever infighting there is tends not to lead to people, say, cutting people they've been best friends with for years out of their lives over a fucking tweet that wasn't worded very well (literally something I saw happen last night)

What angers me the most about this is that it's really our own fault. Most American media have been biased toward the Democrats, and created the image that there was no way Donald Trump could win. That combined with Hillary's character assassination caused a lower turn-out for democratic votes, and a "hidden" republican vote that was never really hidden but simply got brushed aside until it was too late.

I hope that this will teach the Democrats the lessson that simply dismissing people who are racist/sexist/whatever is only going to reinforce their resent.

doop doop doop what do we have here
I should turn this list into a bingo card sometime
  • Type I: Overestimations of the group — its power and morality
    • Illusions of invulnerability creating excessive optimism and encouraging risk taking.
    • Unquestioned belief in the morality of the group, causing members to ignore the consequences of their actions.
  • Type II: Closed-mindedness
    • Rationalizing warnings that might challenge the group's assumptions.
    • Stereotyping those who are opposed to the group as weak, evil, biased, spiteful, impotent, or stupid.
  • Type III: Pressures toward uniformity
    • Self-censorship of ideas that deviate from the apparent group consensus.
    • Illusions of unanimity among group members, silence is viewed as agreement.
    • Direct pressure to conform placed on any member who questions the group, couched in terms of "disloyalty"
    • Mindguards— self-appointed members who shield the group from dissenting information.

1: Figures

2: Have only heard about it slightly through the grape vine, though I think if the case was good that the liberal media would have made sure everyone has heard about it by now, so I thus don't think it's very good.

He's talking about on TV and """news""" websites. A fuckton of people were mad that neither of the aforementioned groups were covering any of the mountains of allegations against Hillary and were instead either over-reporting on every little possibly bad thing Trump did and trying to cast Hillary as a saint.

The people spamming Hillary for Prison stuff everywhere is trolling, like when producers on YouTube or Twitch or Twitter or whatever tell trolls to fuck off etc they 100% of the time don't fuck off but come back more numerous and angry.

Which is why you should get out and talk to a lot of people if you want to see both sides

As far as the internet went for my perception, it was a slight Trump majority with the rest being people who really hated Trump and prefered Clinton(Though amusingly a lot of those were Germans), and people who weren't going to vote at all because fuck them both(Mostly Bernie supporters).
Not a single one that actually liked Clinton though. She is just that unlikable.
