Russians are really fucking good at rocket science. Probably because they're crazy and do things that no sane normie American scientist would do.

A bright future is ahead of us though.

America could probably take the entire world on in a fight if we wanted to, America and Russia as a tag team would be completely unbeatable.

the "but maybe the electors will vote hillary!" meme is another absolutely idiotic thing.

here are your electors: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U ... tors,_2016

now read this list, and look at the republicans on it, and do even a tiny amount of research, and ask yourself whether there is a remote chance it will happen

How can people still believe that Sanders had even the slightest chance against Trump anyway? Trump would have ripped the flesh from his bones, come the election he would have had voters believe that Bernie was a dangerous baby-eating communist, a grave dodger and a senile, confused weak old man. He would have won in a goddamn landslide against Sanders, I'm talking Reagan VS Mondale scenario here. People are delusional.

In the end, none of this shit really matters.

What does matter is that with a house and senate fully republican, there will be very little stopping Trump.

On President Obama’s health-care law, for example, Trump said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal on Friday that he would like to keep some parts of the law intact and may seek to amend the statute rather than repeal it. Trump said he came to the conclusion after Obama, during Trump’s Oval Office visit Thursday, suggested areas of the law that should be preserved.

Trump suggested provisions that prevent insurers from refusing coverage for preexisting conditions and which allow children to stay on their parents’ health plans until age 26 should stay. “I like those very much,” he said.
I still don't really like Trump, but... He's open to negotiations, which is more than you can say of a lot of other politicians. He also removed the whole thing about a ban on muslims entering the country from his website before the elections, which leaves me hopeful that he'll go about that in a less racist way as well. I guess the question now is that when he says he is "the voice of the people", which people he is talking about.

But the Democratic and Republican parties still hate each other, now more than ever. There has been an increase in hate crimes against minorities fuelled by racists who voted Trump for his foreign policies, but Clinton voters have also attacked Trump voters, and several of the #notmypresident protests turned violent. Let's all stop being bloody daft idiots for a second.

Well most (if not all) of those racist quotes by Trump aren't actually racist. He wasn't racist against Mexicans: he only said mean things about illegal immigrants, and even recognized that some are good people. He wasn't racist against Muslims: Islam isn't a race, and even if you want to call it racism anyway, he was only talking about immigrants (again) from some unspecified middle east country. He wasn't an antisemite: his daughter is jewish, and his grandchildren are too. He wasn't racist against asians: he only attacked the Chinese on economic issues. And I don't recall him saying anything bad about black people.
