Seriously though, to get us back on track and away from GIFs...
I think my favorite anime/manga will always be Jojo. s-CRY-ed, Mushishi, Paranoia Agent, Space Dandy and NHK are close up there.

Paprika and Akira for best anime-movies. Spirited Away and pretty much everything else Miyazaki did deserving an honorable mention.
As for manga The Voynich Hotel is interesting, and if you're into vikings doing viking stuff Vinland Saga is a good read. Sadly both ongoing at present.

Anyone else reading/watching/remembering a title worth looking into?

They're probably not going to make a part 7 anime for a long time. Read part 7. It's in a different universe than the other chapters and has a fresher setting and characters. Seriously, read it, it kicks so much ass. It's about horse racing and gyro's balls.

Sword Art Online. It started out with a decent premise then got really weird with the whole family thing. Would have been better drawn out.

Kill la Kill. Goes from hilariously lewd to "jesus fuck why are my nipple glowing, this is a semi decent plot that started from something stupid."

Attack on Titan. No season 2 until 2015. Enough said there.

Started watching Black Bullet. Seems like a decent premise

The premise is actually pretty nice. Players trapped in a world.

"YOU DIE IN THE GAME. YOU DIE FOR REAL." Explore how economies would work, relationships, power struggles. Its an interesting concept, but it has really poor pacing and gets downright weird with the program calling people mom and dad. Nope. It needed more of the boss fights like early on in the series.

Favorite episode of Kill la Kill? NO LATE DAY. Theres really nothing not to like here.
