Depends on the kind of eggs, and the kind of ketchup.

With scrambled eggs, and if the ketchup is something closer to hosauce, it's acceptable.

Brilliant.

I'm going as Sinestro. I can't wait until Halloween is over so I can shave this creepy mustache.

In my ongoing quest to beep boop I have acquired this boop
10960008_10101489202109075_9072541539207015623_o.jpg
It is a mighty fine boop and makes a mean beep.

I killed the microwave.

Sort of.

It's my fault, but I didn't press the button.

Doing the cleaning thing, scrubbed down the toilet, niece wanted to help so I sent her to microwave the sponge for 15 seconds after I was done.

She added a few zeroes and I didn't notice until I smelled it.

Fuck

Someone has offered to sell me one of these boops for $1600.

Image

...I may go for it, but I may get this boop instead for closer to like $1200.

Everyone can plainly see the second boop has more knobs = more beep = probably better.

Actually, at just under $600 this boop might be my next beep. Can't argue with that value.

I could probably still play my tenor sax if I tried and could find the motivation. Been meaning to get my acoustic guitar from my parents' basement and try to learn that thing again.

Then again, that's probably not what you were talking about.

I used to play piano, too. I was pretty good, but nowhere near as good as my brother, so my enthusiasm for it didn't last (not that there was much in the first place).

I wouldn't consider myself a synthesizer connoisseur but I used to have a minimoog and I currently have a decent-quality groovebox.

What do you produce? I just like to fuck around.

also did anyone else try to write comics/books when they were a kid? a young 12-14 yo weeb saintish tried writing a manga called "deli" about a down on his luck deli owner and his two employees

it was basically a ripoff of spongebob

the boss was really enthusiastic, his clerk was a big stoic guy that never talked and his cook was suicidal

weeb saintish actually managed to write and draw half an issue of it but most of it was traced from manga he got at the local library

I distinctly remember the plot involving a stereotyped japanese businessman coming in and demanding dolphin and the crew trying to buy dolphin from the local mob

I still think it was a good idea

Who didn't is a better question! I sucked shit at drawing and still do, but I haven't given up on the idea of maybe one day turning my pulpy shitty writing into something visual--probably by paying a friend a lot of money to do so.

I might try to write a novel for NaNoWriMo this month, or at least get started on one. I'm thinking a cyberpunk noir story called "By the Light of the Plastic Moon".

call me a faggot and I won't deny it but I think NaNoWriMo just encourages bad writing

best of luck though

I think if you're going to participate in smoke dro fly mo, you should just write a barebones outline

you're just wasting your time trying to cram good writing in 1 month

I write pulpy superhero action/urban fantasy stories for fun. They started out as fanfiction of someone ELSE's fanfiction, but I've had people tell me they're better than some shit that gets published--though that is admittedly a pretty low metric.

I have no illusions about the quality of what I do, though. It's shit.

Kinda wish Halloween wasn't a thing around here, but I just happen to live in one of those little suburbs where it's family-friendly enough that the kids knock on all the doors. Reminds me of all the things wrong with my life.

Nice. I've always wanted something Moog (DAT FILTER) but the prices people ask for vintage stuff is just fucking stupid. No, it's really not worth that much. Your Moog concertmate is really nice! I'm sorry but it's just not worth $600+.
Especially not now that you can get things like the Slim Phatty or Minitaur for less than that.

I don't "produce" anything, I just sit around tweaking knobs for sick beeps and boops. I'm not sure I can call latching the arp on a synth open and then just sweeping the filter around and fucking with the detune on OSC 2 or trying out the different things that can happen when you patch the LFO to different parameters and fuck with it. Is this music? It's certainly making sounds and playing timbres but this aint no fuckin' song. It sounds like we're probably of the same mind. It's music to us, and that's all we need.
