Why do my interfaces appear as white boxes that load?

Like you know those boxes that come up "Would you like to play as xxx?"
they're white and like... "load in" after a while.
But they never load in in time.
Also, the strip menu takes forever to open and it got me caught as a cultist because I couldn't strip someone's headset.
I don't understand this.

Assets are delivered dynamically to you, it sounds like they're then not being cached properly, clear your byond cache and see if that fixes it.

Byond is old old old and runs off ancient 32 bit windows components, what you need to do is delete c:\windows\system32 and let the 64bit windows rebuild it from its library.
