I used to do the ol' fill up my desktop then put everything in a single folder that stays on my desktop. then I would do it on repeat until I have a rabbit hole to descend. now believe it or not I'm mostly organized but I just never put anything in the places I designated them to go and it winds up sitting on my desktop or downloads folder for 6 months
