The UN started as a thing to stop the super powers from nuking each other, once the sides in that gained enough nukes to make nooking the world completely unpalatable to both sides, the UNs point of existence became moot so they instead changed focus in stopping africans warlords eating each other and failing miserably at preventing India drowning in its own feces.
Look at what the UN does today: a bunch of busy bodies that bark decrees at countries and order them how to run their own countries. A nationalist is not concerned with matters beyond his nation so long as they do not affect that nation, a nationalist wants his country governed only by his country - not some cack handed foreign mouths that want resources diverted to them.

One world governments are chiefly desired by the delusional that think removing all borders will suddenly rendor millenia of cultural differences and resource disparity moot, blissfully unaware that the ones that actually have the wealth and power to bring about a New World Order are selfish cunts that want to fill their coffers even more.

Justifying wars isn't a case of ease, it's a case of why would we care what johnny foreigner thinks in the first place. The British Empire wasn't built by listening to the lamentations of the frogs, krauts, dutch, and spaniards

The EU's mandate is to gobble up nations and prop up failing states to the detriment of the successful ones.
Free trade might be good for the market, but its not fully good for the nation - take fishing for instance, if we catch too many of a fish the EU makes us throw them back (even if they are dead already), the UK's fishing stocks are heavily depleted because the EU disallows us from telling other nations to fuck off from fishing in our areas (have a look into the Cod War)
Freedom of movement is against nationalism, we want control of our borders.
We could've told the EU to sod off if we didn't have the leaving process lead by the Lead Lady who is a remoaner and really don't care about leaving fully, and is wholly incompetent and only has the job because Camoron was too eager to retire off to the pig farm.

I legitimately do not understand the concept of people valuing the lives of strangers over their own, no matter how it's explained to me, it just doesn't make sense.

That's the privilege of those who grew up not knowing hardships. They think money grows on trees and resources are abundant, and feel moral gratification in sharing with those less fortunate. Look at those rich kids virtue signaling hard as fuck. They don't know how hard it really is to make a good coin and they've been taught "sharing is caring" and all that other garbage.

There are a lot of people who worked their way from absolute poverty to ridiculously rich who still donate billions in charity, point doesn't stand.

If anything, it seems to be the opposite, those who didn't earn their money through hard work are less likely to share and donate because they simply can't understand the concept of being poor.

Maybe it's more an issue of smart rich people vs dumb ones, and it just so happens that the smart ones who realise the benefits of donating are also those who made their own fortune from scratch.
