hello gamers, I know it's a bit late but maybe take this as a wake up call if that's your thing....

what are your new years resolutions gamers...

I want to be able to run a half-marathon/15K hopefully.

I run 5k's but I don't have the luxury of time to be able to do more. I can live vicariously through others at least.

I'm just gonna keep being eclectic by making the time to try and get something through PMI and even more FEMA certs through my employer this year while powering through work and grad school.

I was in at 18 and out at 112 for a 500% return, there is no scenario where I am worried about being in earlier or out later

if you need an arbitrary date as some sort of motivator to become a better version of yourself you're never gonna make it
just go be a better person asap. start now.

it is a bit nice though to let it be a date to switch motivations and such

I wanted to lose some weight for a cut but now I saw it as an opprotunity to start switching gears and start gaining (good) weight.

it helps if you already have goals though I suppose, not as helpful if you're going from directionlessness to immediately finding a direction since no arbitrary date will do that yeah

yeah i used to think like this too but then i started being stupid so for me arbitrary milestones like a new month or year have become important places to begin things i won't finish. never let normal people affect your thinking it's how you start to suck like them but worse probably. also op for me it's being less fat and i hope that by posting this i'll do it but i'll let you know in a month's time unless i forget

I thought this was like a month ago but it's been 15 days. I have made no progress. However, by the fifth (13 days) I will have.

gamer update: I ran pretty close to a 15k but the event got cancelled due to covid. I ended up losing like 30 pounds though so that's pretty cool, but I gained 10 back in muscle.

I rewarded myself with one big mac and my next bigmac will be when I can successfully complete 35 pullups
