I watched Angel beats, and I found the ending very confusing

why the fuck would all of the kids excluding the 5 at the end just disappear? Was their sole purpose fighting the shadows? Where the fuck did all the minor student characters go? Did they fight and disappear too?

Does Death Stranding count as anime? The writing's bad, the voice acting is poorly directed and the guy writing it has a concept of women like that of a 14 year old.

i think i missed a lot about the japanese pride and selfishness of the protagonist getting his sister killed though

name a bad miyazaki film i haven't seen most of them but the ones that i have seen are great

your other point used to be true but now it's mainstream even in the west, i spoke to this very churchy christian girl about mob psycho for a good hour (with her being the one that brought it up) back when that show was airing. show's really good btw

Studio Ghibli holds a special place in my heart. Porco Rosso is one of my favorite movies of all time, it’s such an unassumingly great story that I never get tired of watching it. The combination of Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi is so unyieldingly magical to me. I’ve watched nearly all of their films now (some numerous times) there’s a few that for whatever reason I haven’t gotten around to yet though.

But it's an awful point. I wouldn't call myself an anime afficionado, shit I watched from beginning to an end you could count on fingers of both hands...but GitS is the shit. SAC included. It's at the very least, very good.

Ghost in the Shell was pared back and quiet, which while DOING ART made it boring and unengaging. Only the final fight was good. But that's just my opinion. I haven't watched any YouTube videos wanking it off and giving me the accepted opinion, for example.

Ghost in the Shell was not good.

The main themes of the plot were explored in an incredibly boring way. The ending was stupid and made the whole film feel like a television pilot. The only thing that it had going for it was the quality of the animation/art.

Then again, what else would I expect from the guy who made Angel's Egg
