I still dont think this was handeld properly. The person that got "doxxed" got named in this thread, the platform he got "doxxed" on and the username.

Sadly Vekter fucked up big time by just deleting his account instead of deleting the post that where the problem. The platform will still just store your post and a 3rd party site can easily just be used to find all post the account made on the website.

If you are ever afraid of beeing doxxed dont just delete your account, read up on the deletion policy and in case delete all post or comments by hand. The platform in this case will now give Vekter the middle finger and keep all post on there forever.


Anyway i recommend this thread beeing deleted because it just screams look at *Persons* account and look at his stuff

This is correct, there are also other reasons it fits that I can't discuss at this time. Form your own opinions about it and if you really think it's over the line then encourage him to appeal it, but when it comes down to it he still threatened (jokingly or otherwise) to use my publicly available information to doxx me. That's a pretty clear-cut violation of rule 7.

Legality is correct that I had personally identifying information on that account; however, that information being accessible and me being doxxed are mutually exclusive.

Using info I posted about myself would be just telling everyone that information. The info in and of itself is sensitive but not enough to explicitly identify me. If I had posted my workplace and address somewhere, that would have not been doxxing.

Using that info to find more information about me is doxxing. If Jackrip had taken that info and used it to find out where I work or my address, for instance, that would be considered doxxing.

Either way, the rule applies because you're not allowed to mention you're going to do it even in a joking manner.
