cost me $350 for 3 cubic yards of gravel. i think i got way more than that though ‘cause its easier to just dump a load of gravel from a front loader bucket (~5 cubic yards) than it is to parcel out 3 cubic yards.

anyway is this is good price for crushed rock?

well according to rohen, expert gravelposter, crushed rock should be around 12-35 per cubic yard, I think you got ripped off man

Was it clean or crushed? Clean is supposedly more expensive, of which I ordered $250 worth last summer, delivery included. They definitely ended up providing me with far more than I ordered, which was 4 yards (really probably got closer to 5 or 6 - I had a massive pile left over). Based off that I'd say you probably ended up paying quite a lot, although it's worth saying I ordered it through a family friend, so there could have been a potential discount.

I probably got hit with some sort of same-day delivery thing. Meh. It was(is?) 57 stone and I used most of it to install a massive french drain on the front of the house. I wish I'd gotten a picture of it because it looked really good before it got buried. I definitely got my money's worth out of it though. Just gotta figure out what to do with the rest.

tbf this is the only real landscaping project I've undertaken so far, aside from some minor pollinator-friendly plants in buckets on the porch.

Never buy a house kids. It's not worth it.

my family buys many tonnes of gravel every day for construction
